App Looks Great but CHEATS

steve_2525

I’m adding this review to hundreds others here complaining about unrealistic card deals that favor the house. Read a few of them too before investing time and money on this app. I’ve not found a nicer looking Blackjack app- really top notch graphics. But be prepared to mostly lose due to cards dealt that largely favor the house. I’ve played this game a lot and am still ‘up,’ (after buying chips once) but it can be frustrating knowing the cards are literally stacked against you and good strategic play mostly is not rewarded. The dealer mostly draws strong to very strong hands-17-21. If hits are needed, dealer mostly draws low suit cards that lead to a strong hand. Player draws mostly weak hands: 12-16. If a hit to your weak hand is strategically right due to a strong dealer card showing, player usually busts. You can almost count on being dealt a 10 after being initially dealt a weak 12-16 hand. It’s doubly frustrating how many times you bust after taking a strategically sound hit on a weak hand only to find the dealer had a strong hand that would have beat you if you hadn’t risked the hit. These things happen over and over, cards favor the house too often. If you were in a real casino and the dealer was this hot-you’d switch dealers. If that didn’t help (as it doesn’t on this app) you’d realize the casino was crooked and play elsewhere. Yes, you win *sometimes* but nothing close to a real life blackjack game or even on some other apps. You can alter basic blackjack strategy to try to accommodate the biased hands this app deals and it can help with wins- but should we have to work that hard just to have fun? The developer will say this app uses a Random Card Generator and has been ‘third party tested’ to meet the industry standard for online casinos. I believe there’s some wordplay involved with this explanation. Example-they say it uses 6 decks and reshuffles after (only) 4 have been dealt. What? In any case the cards dealt are simply not random. Again, check out any/many of the other (hundreds) reviews here complaining of the exact same thing: deals and hits that favor the house. You have to wonder why so many users take the time to warn about the one-sided play on this app. I’m guessing that -like me- they got angry at the cards favoring the house so blatantly over and over. Thank goodness I only play for fun online and only gamble money in real life blackjack games where the house only has a small advantage. If any other app developers read these reviews: I and others would pay money upfront for an app that has the sophistication of Blackjackist but that plays realistically and fairly- like standalone pocket Blackjack games and computer software games (Hoyle’s Casino etc).

Go back to school

your biggest critic

Your app is HORRIBLE, dealer’s hand is either two 10’s or 21, rarely busts.

Can’t give zero stars

I have been a loyal customer for years. I have paid for chips to play unlike some players who cheat and chip trade. But I understand now why players do this, they are exhausted and frustrated from losing. The fair and equitable is only equitable for the creators of this app. Used to be fun to play, until your account gets marked and you can literally NEVER win; forced to buy if you want to continue playing. Be aware this app will infuriate you while taking your money. Rarely does support “support” loyalty and honest players.

It cheats,

I know I’ll get the canned response that they don’t, if I play a low table in blackjack, I can draw a 12 and get a reasonable amount of hands that I can hit and actually get a willing hand, when I go to the 500k to 15mil table that’s not the case, I keep track for two weeks, I got 85 12’s in the draw, 81 times I hit and drew a 10 or face card. I paid attention to other players and the same thing. I drop to a lower table and I do better...those aren’t odds, those are algorithms. Just like the lottery tickets, you get the minimum, and they show the cartoon faces of people who supposedly have win millions, you can’t see their names or click on them to ask...how convenient. Stop the canned response Supposedly there are 6 decks of cards in blackjack games on this site, how then before the red card were there 9 10s of hearts? And only 3 Aces? Which only the dealer got while everyhand lost over and over. In slots, why do the two highest paying symbols not even appear in the first column? I take random videos when I can keep spinning and lose 100 million...take a couple videos and nothing? That wheel should be consistent as they do not spin all together and have the same symbols. I’d say your independent third party is you.

Qualified Review: BUYER BEWARE

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Update 2. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 1) The app developer has failed to provide the basic requested information to support their claims of fairness and verification of it. 2) I ran a few more tests (specifically on the Black Jack game play) and it’s beyond a shadow of a doubt that the game is 100% rigged. It’s designed to lure players with claims and an initial appearance of fair play with a randomized number generator, etc. However, this is not the case. It geared towards addictive game play, lies and programmed algorithms to produce unfair gaming results to manipulate people into purchasing chips and benefits. Simply put: they promise fair game play, but lie and cheat to dupe players into spending real money to continue under false pretenses. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Update 1. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Response to the developer response below: Dear Developer… Thank you for your insincere canned, generic response that you’ve cut and pasted to so many similar reviews. Love the app… but when it comes to the legitimacy of your “guaranteed” fair play… I, like countless others, simply don’t believe you. You give guarantees and claim “certification” by an “independent 3rd party”. Ok then. Where might I find more detailed information about your certification, the company who audited and certified you and your random number generator? You say you guarantee fair play? Please add a feature to allow players to download their detailed historical play data so they may review the statistical probabilities regarding so many incident complaints. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Original Review. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••First: In the real world, my home is physically located within 2 miles of a half a dozen major casinos (Hard Rock, MGM, Harrahs, Golden Nugget and more). I’ve worked for and played in these casinos so many countless hours, I’d say My opinion here is well qualified. After playing hundreds of hours on this game and spending a bit of money to buy chips, etc…. I’ve discovered both good and bad about this app. Here’s my assessment of the Pros and Cons. ?? PROS: Simply put, this app is really engagingly entertaining and a fun way to pass the time. A great way to learn how to play the game; learn both the rules of game play but also the etiquette of how to play with others in a casino (the 3D virtual environment with other real players gives a great experience 2nd only to the real thing). It’s really a great platform to learn how to play, understand proper table interaction and gain confidence in preparation to play in a real life casino. For this, I’ve no problem recommending this app. I’d even say it’s worth spending a few bucks here and there for the entertainment and education. ?? CONS: Simply put, this game is rigged. Players need to remember that this is NOT a real casino gambling app. It is NOT subject to gambling gaming laws and they aren’t governed by any gaming commission to ensure fair game play or consumer protections. This app generates profitable revenue through in-app purchases of benefits and virtual gambling coins. To this end, they will design the game to be as fun and addictive as possible. In order to play, you must have coins. To generate revenue, they need players to spend real money to purchase and use up those coins as much as possible. If you’re a skilled player, you can acquire coins through “gambling” and build up your bankroll. However, if you don’t need to buy coins, they aren’t getting money from you. Think about it. In order to increase revenue they will employ a number of strategies to make you use up and lose your coins so you must purchase more coins more often. Anyone with a lot of experience playing in real casinos can point out that there are a lot of subtle tricks to achieve this, including tweaking certain gameplay rules to increase the house advantage to cheating with program algorithms that produce unfair and unnatural game results that casual players are unable to recognize, pinpoint or prove. Remember: the developer is not a real casino and they are not required to adhere to gaming regulations. They can cheat all they want.

Fair Play?

Robert in Massachusetts

This app is definitely fun to play but definitely not fair play. If you try playing high stakes blackjack for example, watch the dealer get 20 after 20. It’s quite laughable actually, the claims of fair play they make. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Terrible app!!!

suited7s

This game is terrible. Not even following the rules of blackjack I would not recommend this game. It’s disgusting how wrong the rules of blackjack in this app are.

Horrible!
