It doesn’t explain itself very well. I want to know “why” the app disagrees with a move I selected, etc. Maybe I will get the hang of it. I always thought the dealer had a 16. Also, what do you mean by “soft” 17? Thanks, Bob PS: I love the game but want to understand the odds better. I want to hear a professional thinking out loud when a hand is dealt‼️ That would help me to understand “what” a professional sees that I don’t see‼️

You should make the hands play out after you split and also show what the dealer had so it is like playing a real game of blackjack while learning

This is a great way to learn basic strategy for the most common table rules. Errors are pointed out immediately. There is one mistake in the strategy table, however: it indicates that you surrender or stand with a hard 16 against dealer's 10 when dealer stands on soft 17. Correct play is surrender or hit. Overall, though, this is an excellent learning and practicing tool. And the price is certainly right!

I have been looking at websites, software and all the other Blackjack iPhone apps for the right tool to help me learn the BJ odds card so I don't have to carry it around and look silly. So much that is out there is either more "game" than I want or simply ugly to look at with weird, annoying noises. This app is easy to use, fast, pretty and intuitive. It is an elegant solution for this very targeted need. That being to learn the odds card. This is not a game for playing. It is a very targeted tool that has helped my bring my decision accuracy way up. WHen I first started using the app my accuracy was around 68% but I am well over 80% after only a week. I understand the game at a much deeper level too.

This is a great app, I had a few questions and contacted the developer, he responded the same day with an answer. Then a few days later I needed some additional help and again he answered quickly. Great app if you are trying to learn BS (basic strategy). I wish all apps worked this well. When he gets around to making an app for the iPad I will be in line, but this works great on the iPad as is.
