I have been using this app for a while and even paid. I hope they can fix documents taking multiple tries to open and classes not being aligned with the right classes.

It used to work fine before, and now it doesn't! My courses constantly don't load and I can't assess the files either.

Blackboard seriously needs to update their servers. Even when I'm connected to wifi, it struggles just to load my courses so I can check my grades. When I'm on a mobile connection, I might as well forget about it ever loading even when I have full bars LTE and the use mobile data switch under cellular is ON. I might as well have flushed 2.5MB down the toilet because it would've been more useful and entertaining probably.

Don't download this app unless you only want to get notifications you can't open and only want to see your course list. I figured the blackboard people would be smart enough to make an efficient app to view grades, lectures, and successfully open pop up notifications, but no. Instead they made an useless piece of crap software that does absolutely nothing helpful except waste my time.

The app is ok and it gets the job done most of the time but there are some really silly visualization decisions and it's soooooo slow. There's also a bug that I've experienced ever since I first downloaded it 4 years ago and I can't believe it hasn't been addressed: whenever I open up a notification from my Notification Center, I'm forever stuck in a loading 'spinny arrow' page (presumably because I'm not logged in). The only way out is closing the app, restarting it, logging in, and finding the file / announcement / grade that the notification was for. Ridiculous.

This used to be one of the best apps. Since the update, it says my username or password is incorrect. If I use my computer or browser on my phone, my username and password works fine. It is definitely the app that is not working. Update: still doesn't work

As you can see, no one likes this app, and rightly so: the creators of this app literally have no idea how to develop software. But we're talking about the developers of Blackboard… and if you're a college student, you know exactly how terrible their products are. Everything you could possibly hate about an app is included in this thing, like still not supporting the larger iPhones or not being able to open conventional files. Don't waste your time downloading this thing. Surprisingly enough, their horrible web app is still better.
