IOS13 update failure

Fishy Insurance

After installing IOS13.0 on my IPad, Blackberry Work and BlackBerry Access stopped working. I removed and reinstalled both apps multiple times with no success. I contacted Apple and after an hour call, they advised me to contact Blackberry.

Setup Not Working with iOS 13.2

Yonoton

Setup fails at point where the app is reviewing secure communications. The app has been serviceable on older devices.

Hate this app

Amysmommypants17

This app constantly tells me that I have entered an incorrect password when I in fact will type it the slowest I’ve ever typed anything in my life! It’s not wrong. It it always ends up locking my entire employee account out and I have to unlock my profile when I get to work. I HATE this app!

Inefficient.

Gamer6908

The functionality is isolated only to the App. This means, I cannot merge or interface any functions with my iPhone. For example, I have a new email from someone I want to save into contacts, I am unable to copy and past their information or select and chose “create new contact” like I can when I used Outlook on my phone in past companies. Toggling between calendar and email in the app is also far less efficient than when work emails interface with the email and calendar functions of my phone. And I cannot interface with my Apple Watch to get meeting alerts or manage my calendar on the go without touching my phone.

Keeps crashing

Sandcatz

Every single day it locks me out, doesn’t recognize my password, and I basically cannot use it. Horrible experience.

Absolute trash app

Dating app notifications work 100x better...

The Notifications in iOS is not updating and notifying..the app is still buggy!

Infuriating

To put it simply, BlackBerry Work doesn’t.

Battery Life Nose Dive, Interface Just Wrong

Wm.

Being better than Good is like saying you like something better than being waterboarded. Not exactly a high bar. This app is clunky and has just the basic features of email, calendar, contacts. It has about 60% of the capabilities of the iOS Mail, Calendar, Contacts. And it’s Notes and Reminders are... missing. Then it puts what is there all together Frankenapp style, so you are in “BlackBerry World” like you were in “Good World” before. Isn’t like an iPhone, isn’t like a BlackBerry, has pieces of each with pieces missing from both. Frankenberry We also notice that once loaded, battery life takes a nose dive. My iPad could sit, off power for an entire week, and still have plenty of juice when I picked it up later to do something. Now that same iPad can’t sit a day without exhausting the battery completely. Still tracking this down but getting reports from others of same battery issue only after they have installed BB Work. Caveat Emptor (small update, reboot a new 10.9” iPad and just have blackberry work on the iPad, iPad sleeping, still locked from reboot, it uses over 50% of the battery in under 48 hours.) From the appearance of the admin console, this solution caters to the IT department needs vs the actual end user. Just because you can implement something to provide a new restriction doesn’t mean you should. End users hate things like having the app hide its display when using AirPlay... esp vision impaired users who might need a flat screen TV to read the text. If IT has the ability, provided by Blackberry, to put a restriction in place, they will. This reflects in the reviews of the mobile app, as it should. The approach of catering to the IT department at the detriment to the endpoint user didn’t work so well for Blackberry before... is the reason iPhone (and others copying iPhone) were able to crush the Blackberry market.

Not reliable and poor performance is normal.

App frequently fails. Critical updates fail to fix things. Removing the app and reinstalling means you lose your critical files saved to Docs. Even running diagnostics causes the app to crash. Overall find the app very cumbersome to use - working within the app doesn’t feel like things just flow naturally (hoops you have to jump through to do simple things). For example, to organize your docs you can’t just click and drag file into new folder or select and be offered a “move” option - you have to save it to new folder then delete the duplicate from the original spot. Poorly thought out application.
