Makes the treadmill almost enjoyable

Camlyn 1965

I really love this app and use it several times a week when I walk on the treadmill. There are trails and city walks for every taste. I personally prefer the nature trails rather than city walks. It would be great if users could rate the trail after they complete it and perhaps provide a comment for feedback. That way the developers could provide more of what people like. One thing a few of the trails do that I find very frustrating is when they are not continuous and stop/skip too often. There is a trail in Northern Italy that does this about 50 times during the walk. Conversely, there is a trail in Japan that is wonderful in that it goes up the hill then turns around and goes back down. This lets the walker experience the trail from both directions. One more thing; I do like it when the app stops and looks around at the view in scenic spots. It is what I would do if I were walking the trail.

Upgrading is a pain

Jenfr26

LOVE the scenes but upgrading is a pain. Having to go through a website sign up and can just use the app makes it super inconvenient. And I don’t see where it just auto pays. If it did that it would be perfect!!!!

Something changed

Over a year ago this app was amazing! It matched the rpm and stayed consistent! Now the meter goes all over the place! So I won’t get any accuracy on how I am doing! It’s irritating! I used to love this app!

Needs more options

Rockin' Mom-mom

I love this app! Finally found something that keeps me focused and motivated. The scenery is awesome. It’s pretty cool to feel like I'm actually rowing around in Venice or Hawaii. I would give it 5 stars only if there were more options. I have done most of the courses but, would like to see more of the world. Maybe, add The Nile in Egypt, The Amazon, or the Shannan in Ireland. Or how about the Mississippi and the Colorado. *IT NEEDS A METER COUNTER!!* I have a counter on my machine but, it doesn’t work. Would be awesome, when they do the next update, that they include a tracker.

Awesome App!!!

I don’t usually do written reviews but I’m excited about this app. I have only done one workout with this app using one of the free tours and I am hooked. I’m even going to do the monthly subscription. I bought a Schwinn Elliptical and their app with nature tours was pointless and deleted it same day. Needless to say I was disappointed but now I have found this app. The front facing camera actually detects accurate RPM info. Can’t wait to do another workout!!! ?

Great for Fitness Training

I’ve always found workouts on gym equipment slightly boring, as my mind would wander during the exercise. During the pandemic, I would often be in self-isolation doing workouts on my elliptical and rowing machines to relative monotony. Then I came across BitGym. The visual stimulation front the 190+ tours and the tracking my movement with my iOS camera (iPhone of iPad), allowing the video to sync to my motion.... I moved, the video played; I stop, the video stopped was awesome. The visual stimulation helped the time pass faster during the exercises. It’s basically given me a breath of freedom mentally during my workouts, so that workouts are fun again. The BitGym team is producing new places to travel and explore around the world monthly. It truly is an investment into my health, and I feel that investment was well worth the cost.

Not that good

nealmccandless

Well first it has no sound and that is upsetting and u need money to make it better they always make apps with money

Great app

Hillaryddd

Love this app, both the free version and paid. My only recommendations to make it perfect are for there to be a way to pick up where you left off in a course and to choose if you want facts or a trainer on each course. I appreciate the new courses added and how much of the world I get to see that I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Great app.

If this worked with Stryd pod would be 5 stars

Really cool app, better than iFit except for lack of foot pod compatibility.

Amazing! Turns workout to scenic trip

silly country

This is a fantastic app - similar to high-end gym machines, lets any exercise routine follow 200+ scenic trips around the world. The ability to automatically increase/decrease speed through the trail based on your exercise rate is amazing, and it’s so easy to simply put your iPad on the machine - or bring it to any machine if at a gym.
