A Great App w/ a Few Flaws

Bit draw is an easy to use, low commitment way to make pixel art. It's the best pixel art app I've come across, especially considering its free status. It lets you save multiple drawings to come back and edit later, choose between a decent palette of colors, and has a functional undo button. I also don't mind the accessibility of the menus, which seems to be a major complaint. Here are its drawbacks: -It only draws on a 15x27ish canvas (on an iPhone 5.) That's a limiting space. -Ads often make it difficult, sometimes impossible, to use, especially when viewing the gallery. This can be fixed by putting your device in airplane mode. - There's no "save as" function, meaning that if you want two different versions of a picture (which I often do) it's necessary to recreate the whole thing. Overall, it's a great, very functional app. If the above issues, at least the second two, could be addressed, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

ok so when u finish your drawing there's a gallery... But when u try to look at it BAM a ad and it won't let u look at any of your drawing CUZ of SUPID ads WAY TO MANY ADS!!!!!???????????????
Very Limited App

Only works with iPad oriented in Portrait (not Landscape). Does not have Zoom capability. Does not let you choose image size. I can't find how to change colors - I only get white and tan. Basically it works as a Doodle Pad and not useful for much else.
Lacks features and customization

Can't change the grid size. Cant change the grid color. Cant remove the grid. Can't zoom in/out. Can't make selections. Can't copy/paste. Can't select from all the colors. Can't change brush size. Can't stand this app..

I write app reviews at reasonable intervals, and most often they are good, but I'm sorry to say, this app is just not worth getting, at least not until there are major improvements. I am quite a reasonable, kind, honest, forgiving, and not-so-critical person, but I am truly annoyed with the functionality, or lack there of, that is present within this program. I understand that a person or a group of people probably worked very hard on this, and as I said before, I don't intend to be overly harsh or mean, and if I appear that way, I am truly sorry, but there are a handful of easy-to-point-out faults, and until they get fixed, I will continue to be greatly annoyed with this application. First of all, the idea is brilliant. I love the thought of touching down on individual squares in a grid and being able to make something amazingly detailed out of it; the fact that art can be made in this way, and often is, is why apps like this exist. In short, very creative and versatile. Unfortunately, it is literally almost impossible to create anything, because the "calibration," or whatever the word might be, is completely off. If one square in the grid is touched, even if done with the utmost delicacy and caution, the dot appears at least 5 or 10 squares away, in a totally random direction. As far as swiping up the bottom menu, it cannot be done, at least for me, and both of these major problems have been experienced both times I have re-downloaded the app. Again, I do not want to seem unfair or cruel, but please, please fix these problems so that qualitative creativity can be had. The idea of Bitdraw being a free alternative to say perhaps Pixartist is pleasing to hear, but it needs to actually do what it promises first. I thank the developers for taking the time to read this, and I hope they work towards improving the issue, whatever it may be.

The ads are annoying and you can't get them away in the gallery(at least in iPhone 5-C)

Ads pop up any time you try to view that gallery that block everything. Would rate higher if ads didn't block 50% of the apps functionality.

Loaded with ads that are impossible to close. There's an ad that's always blocking the gallery page. And there's only one color, white, to draw with. Deleting right away.

This is a good game, but the ads are annoying. I cant even look through my artwork without shopping for shoes!!!!!! Please do something about this. Thanks.
