This is a very nice app, but would benefit from CarPlay support. iBooks is terrible for listening to audiobooks, as it tends to lose your place whenever you shut it down.

I really love big finish audios, so this app is amazing! If I were to make a suggestion, that would be to have the ability to switch the audio cover to the alternate one if available. (Like Zaltys but with the 80's logo and font) but I love it anyway

After avoiding the Big Finish app because of bugs and breakdowns in their first couple of versions, I'm happy to say the waiting was worth it. Everything does what it is supposed to with no problems or kinks. So listening to the best produced audio drama on the planet is even easier. Thanks.

Great to have instant access to Big Finish stories with series filtering and sorting. Unfortunately I have experienced several occurrences where the app locks up when opening. The only solution is to uninstall and reinstall which requires re-downloading the stories again.

I'm SO glad they came out with this app. It makes it so much easier to listen to Big Finish on the go. Like others have said, the only reason I rate it 4 stars is because I would really love to be able to buy stuff from the app. But functionally, the app works great.

Just started using Big Finish, but my initial impression has been very positive. The app works as it should. I purchase audio files online and they show up in the app. Easy.

The application has a few solid feature set. However there are a few missing features that cost the app a star. The app does a good job of downloading media from your Big Finish account, and offers basic playback options. However, the inability to set audio bookmarks means that you're often searching for where you left off between listening sessions. The app is also somewhat buggy, in the sense that downloading too many audios onto an iPad often results in application freezes that require you to delete and reinstall the app before being able to continue using it. This is annoying if you have a large audio library, but easy to avoid if you only download a few audiobooks at a time. The other bug in with the application is that if you order a multi-book set such as a complete season of Doctor Who, downloading the season downloads all of the books in the series. This doesn't sound like a huge deal, however you can't download a single story from a multivolume set, nor can you delete a single volume from the downloaded set. This feature also contributes to the problem of having too much data in the iOS application and causing the application to require re installation. If you have a large collection of digital Big Finish audios, this is a great way to listen to your collection. However, the app definitely needs a little additional polish in order to compete with similar products such as Amazon Audible.

Big Finish creates excellent content. If you’re a Doctor Who fan, you’ll love discovering new stories about the various Doctors and his companions. The app, however, is a complete disappointment. There’s no way to bookmark and rewinding/fast forwarding is terrible. I actually download the books, import them into iTunes and then listen to them with the Audible app. That’s how bad this app is - I actually prefer all of those steps to using this app.
