iPhone user in Texas
This does not work well. Tried it on iPhone and Android and either audio did not work or the photo would not stay in the camera. Also it keeps looping instead of responding to the selected buttons. Am I doing something wrong?

This app worked wonderfully on my iPhone XS. We bought a new iPad, downloaded the app, and the scan feature doesn’t work at all within the app. We can only see a black screen. My daughter wanted to read her Bible on her own. I hope you are able to fix the problems.
Good concept but serious deficiencies

I love the Big Picture Interactive Bible for our 9 yo daughter. When we 1st presented this Bible to her nearly 1 year ago, this app designed to augment the Bible worked. You had to hold it over the picture the entire time to hear a scene described (only a minor inconvenience), but it did work. Today, the app doesn’t work. All of the icons aren’t recognized by the scanner. While some of the pictures pop up, there is absolutely no sound. This is quite disappointing. Thankfully, the Word is the same; and we can still consult its pages for truth and direction. However, it would be an enhanced experience if you could fix the glitches. Thanks for listening.

The underlying books are great - the app and it’s claimed capabilities are horrible at best and an abysmal failure at worst Other than a 3-D type pic showing up on your device screen nothing else works, nothing. Again the books are great and I am sure they truly wanted the functions promised but alas nothing and from the other reviews BH and LifeWay are true to form being totally unresponsive. As other users have noted the books used with this app are great. Though the app is free, the books are not and not cheap at that. So advertising “Special Features” to help sell the book that include “Interactive Full-Page Color Illustrations with Augmented Reality” is entirely misleading. What you get in actuality is you have to awkwardly hold your device on icons throughout the books to hear an introduction and the “augmented reality” is akin to the vintage viewfinder stereoscopic toy from the 50’s & 60’s. Not even as good as the ones from 80’s a lot of adults today grew up with. I would think the developers of a Christian product would listen to their users and at least try to make improvements but judging by the date of the reviews it seems not. Although 2nd in the list of features of The Big Picture Interactive Bible what this app does is more of a distraction than major feature. That's inside the actual bible itself. On the back of the box it says Bring the Bible to Life for Kids with hundreds of full-color special features from Genesis to Revelation. Special Features Include: Interactive Full-Page Color Illustrations with Augmented Reality is listed 1st which leads one to believe the next 8 features listed below are part of the app as well because they are between the app feature and the directions to download the app. Are there any plans to update this app to make it more user friendly and actually exciting, fun and understandable for kids ~as advertised?

I had this app with s bunch of games on it and it worked fine! But now whenever i try to install it, it wouldn’t work! And I had to delete a whole bunch of my favorite apps, I like this app but it takes up to much space.

This is a great concept, however, kids were disappointed they couldn’t hear. I even double checked that my volume was up. The apps volume is not loud enough. She please fix so that we can enjoy.
