Fun & Absorbing Game

GameReviewQWERTY

This is fun, absorbing match three game. The graphics and storyline are cute. The puzzles are just the right amount fun and hard. Plus, I find the music and sound effects especially pleasant. A great addition to the bejeweled family.

Cute but unplayable

IAmSherlocked88

I was enjoying this game for about a week until I reached a point where winning became impossible without spending a million Dollars to progress to the next level (I exaggerate slightly but my point is big bucks are needed in the end to make it anywhere past a certain level. For me this was around level 42.) I ended up deleting the game for various reasons. 1. I enjoy playing games I know I can win and have fun while doing so. 2. I don't like being forced to spend real money on games because it's literally flushing money down the toilet. 3. A game is supposed to help you relax, not stress you out. By the time I had reached a certain level I was literally cursing the game repeatedly because I kept losing when there was only one move left. The puzzles became completely unsolvable and I always ended up having to spend money. So I deleted it and I will not be downloading it again unless some serious changes are made. Make the game more enjoyable and the levels winnable. Don't force me to pay for more lives and more Coins in order to progress to the next level. Don't make the gems match up by pure luck only! I often spent hours on one game trying to figure out where I was gonna get my matches from because the gems just weren't there! Also PLEASE change that horrible music!! It's worthy of a brain bleed. . .

Glitchy and a battery destroyer

MrsSRyder

The game has great potential, however the glitches are frustrating and it drains the battery incredibly quickly. Levels that require a certain number of special gems to be detonated never work properly, only about 30% of the gems you detonate get counted. I should have beaten level 53 with all stars several times over by now, but every time I attempt it I watch it not count most of the flame gems that I set off. This has happened with multiple similar levels now.

Gets overly complicated and difficult

Jumpin_J

It's Blitz on steroids which is okay if you're into that thing. It's another match 3 tile game but this one is more strategic needing to use special power ups to destroy special tiles. The stone tiles are especially hard so you have to go through a detailed process to get the power gems needed and of course in app purchases are available to speed up the process and take your money. The game feels long and tedious after a while so I got rid of it. I'm fine with a quick game of Blitz instead.

Excellent! Still the Best! Challenging and exciting!

Love this game!

DarkShadowx2643

It can get a little frustrating when you are stuck on a certain level, but patience is key. I love the design. The theme music is amazing. I love the musical sounding "voices" of the characters, and the star and gem theme make the game super sparkly and explosively entertaining. (No pun intended.) This game has a lot more to do with strategy than it may seem... A lot of moves have to be planned out just right to activate the special powers and thus assist in completing the level. Again. I LOVE this game. I definitely recommend it!

Basic pay-to-win after a certain point

sykoh963

I really enjoyed this game starting out. Then in the 40s and 50s the puzzles started to get frustrating, especially the stone or crystals requiring 2 hits. Im permanently stuck at 62 and without copious powerups its virtually impossible. I gave it 3 stars because i enjoyed it for a couple weeks, but now its in my trash bin. If you were expecting anything other than the standard candy crush frustrations, i recommend you look elsewhere.

Can you say "pay wall?"

Lepactedesloups

Well, EA has done it again. Taken a beloved franchise, monetized it and designed it around a pay wall. After the first 30 levels or so, you'll be forced to spend 2 bucks here 5 bucks there just to finish a single level. Ridiculous. I would have had no problem spending five bucks buying a new game if it meant enjoying hundreds of new levels. But no, thanks to the idiots who dump tons of money into Candy Crush, companies now think this is the only viable game app model. I used to love Bejeweled, but EA's greed once again ruins what could have been a perfectly good game. Nice job, guys.
