Bejeweled mess!

This has happened again! One year ago I posted the following and it’s happening again! A few different issues than before, but the bottom line is after the update it won’t even stay on the game. It goes back to my folders. I just updated to the latest version this morning. It will not open now. After going to the 2nd (purple) screen, it goes right out of the app totally. I have shut down and restarted with no different outcome. This is my favorite go to game and now I'm so bummed. Any help out there?

Hate hate hate this update. The style is not aesthetically pleasing at all. Extremely hard to find anything, like the daily free chest (when it’s not highlighted). Frequently the spin isn’t working properly, just spins and spins, then lands on all green (1,000,000 coin payout) but freezes a bit and says spin again, never crediting the coins. Also agree with another reviewer, the game is very likely rigged. In all my years of playing, i have never received the highest coin payout, in spins or rare gems. I’ve tried the systematic approach of choosing the same gem every time, but it’s never there.
Hate the new version

Lost all my bonuses; too complicated, there are no bigger better boosts. I play the old version on my ipad. Am deleting this new one from my phone.

I’ve been playing for years and the most recent update is awful. Slow response and just not pleasing home screen. I hope the bugs are worked out soon!

This latest update stinks. Why on earth would you change things so drastically? If I could revert back to the previous version, I would. Also, I lost 7 MILLION coins with the update. Thanks for nothing!

The new update, is to be innovative & challenging by the developers! I have another opinion...I do not like it! The game now plays itself. Developers have turned a challenge to a boring game of its former self! Don’t waste your time...they ruined the game.
Last upgrade stinks

Last upgrade made the game too busy and complicated. It’s impossible to compare scores now with friends because you can be playing a totally different game from them, with all the ‘extras’. Bad move. Keep it simple. I’ve played A LOT, but now I’m done.
