Use to play several times a day. Hate this new version. Too confusing. Am getting ready to delete. Why do you have to change things in such a drastic way.

So Bejeweled Blitz decided to refresh their look. It basically made the game jittery and unreliable on my iPad Air. I did the usual restart, then I deleted and reinstalled it (which is way more effort then the game is worth now). There‘s a LOT to be said about updating just for updates sake, as it really brought nothing new to the game except graphics.... I’d skip it until PopCap issues a better, smoother performing game.

After playing this game daily for years and accumulating millions of points, I deleted it within 5 minutes of the update being installed. I’m frustrated and angry with this latest update. There are so many ways this update is meant to line the pockets of developers. Just because you tell me the update is “exciting” does not make it so. There are dozens of other swapping colors games in the App Store.

The gameplay is great, the new updates are great. What’s not great is blowing coins to get the special gems, finishing a game, picking a lotto icon and getting jack crap. It’s impressive. I did the beta testing, I even occasionally purchase coins. But does anyone ever win the grand prize? No. Which is stupid. Literally the only feedback from the beta was “does anyone ever get the grand prize?” And EA said thanks for the feedback, here’s a shiny new package, but you still get screwed. Enjoy

Not sure why you felt it necessary to change the ENTIRE look and layout of the game but, I’m done playing it. You’ve ruined it. The games is more complicated to play and thus making it no longer fun to play. I’m deleting the game.

Baby voice!

I used to love this game because it was the least expensive game I played, yet I could still play and watch my scores grow higher and higher. Now, I’m HAVING to spend money to get those same scores. Well, I don’t HAVE to, I could always quit playing this game. On top of that, the game keeps freezing while I’m playing with a special gem that I purchased. I’ve contacted the customer service center with zero results. I’ve decided I’m going to play out my gems and my gold stash, then hit the delete button on Bejeweled Blitz. Unless they come up with a better format....like the one they had before this one. By the way, this is the first app review I’ve ever written. That should speak volumes.
