Beatwave is a matrix-style sequencer that is easy to get into and has appealing built-in sounds.

I initially loved this app because of its ease of use and the awesome sounds. I especially like the sounds in the extended pack. I started feeling annoyed, however, when custom drum sets I created glitched, as all of them have now. I sent several emails to support and have never heard back. Probably a great app if you don't use custom sounds.
Would recommend it to others
Perfect app for any one to create music even if they aren't good a a instrument

This app was pretty good a long time ago. Now it's definitely to be taken seriously

Pros: It is easy to figure out how the app works It also has many choices and styles of electronic music (I can write both dubstep and vaporwave with this app) Cons: I cannot name my songs because it has a name chosen for me and every time I try to change the name it doesn't change. This infuriates me because I want to publish them to soundcloud with my own song name. It also won't let me change the chords. It chooses whether you get a major or minor and you can't change it. Something like that should be a default in all music apps. Fix these bugs and I'll rate 5 stars because this app has lots of potential. It just needs to give the user more control of basic things like the things I listed.

update 2.6.1 puts the controls in deeper menus, and makes quick changes impossible. why is the developer always drastically changing the layout of this app? this latest update is not intuitive and the mixer control menu blocks the main playing grid- especially strange when there's so much empty space where the mixer controls used to be. i had previously purchased the in-app pro version, but feel I was tricked into repurchasing because the button to restore is unlabeled, tiny, and in the corner of the screen- opposed to the labeled button in the center that takes your money. I would like my $14.00 back.
