Buy From A Different Developer

Kevio

Don't waste your money on this app! I bought it a while back and they never had any significant updates. Instead the updated version is a separate app that costs another $20. So guess what--Beatmaker 2 probably won't have any updates. They will just release Beatmaker 3 for another $20. Lame. I won't buy anything else made by INTUA.

nice app!

i bought the first beatmaker for $10, and it's actually a really good app, i don't know about the second version, but it seemed a little expensive to me. So, i bought the original version instead, and it works very well. It's just like and MPC for the iphone. Although, it took me a little bit to figure out how to imprt/export kits between beatpack on my computer and my beatmaker, but now i know how to do it, and it works great. I recommend this to anyone who is into making sample-based beats, as well as beats in general. However, if you want to make non-sample based beats, then there are other apps that may suit you needs better. For example, FL-Studio mobile, and Easy Beats (for beginners mostly), and many more as well

Give the devs a break...

With out them WE DONT HAVE "BEATMAKER" ! and we'd be lookin at a few grand for a MV - 8800 ! I'm buying BEATMAKER 2 !!! "but please update this one" - needs better zoom options in sequencer ! and MORE sounds !

Shoulda given us a discount

Same concern as everyone else.... I bought version 1, and now am disappointed to see no credit given. Lame. And I understand that for what you get, it's still a good deal, but I already have a full home studio, and this was just for when I'm bored away from it. I suspect there are lots of us like that, that will just play a game instead, or use one of the many other production apps, rather than pay to be insulted by lack of appreciation as a consumer. My advice is to save your $, and wait for the production app I'll be releasing in the next couple years that will have functionality only seen, (to date), in science fiction. Sounds weird, I know, but you will be able to do things never before possible. And yes, the tech that makes it possible is far more reaching than music production. So be anxious and excited for what the VERY near future holds - and for us producers, as far as my app goes, I promise it will be reasonably priced, and loyalty will have it's privileges.

Decent app. V2 rip off

loac

That is all. They have a right to not support their app. And we have a right to complain.

Abandonware - Terrible Company

(TPG)

It's a decent application for MPC-like functions (Native Instruments' iMaschine is better), but this company has terrible customer service, and has shown that they don't give a Smurf about their customers. Interesting that $.99 apps get support, but this company that sells 'ware for $20 offers none.

Who don't know about Beatmaker?

THE REAL WOLFE

Mini MPC 60, well worth it I paid $20 for it. Beat sales r slow right now so if u wanna make some extra MONEY, earn iTunes or gift cards then download this free app called "App Trailer" on the who recommended you code enter "wolfeywolfe" it's that simple to get extra money in your account or a chance to earn iTunes or gift cards:)

What a disappointment

This is the worse app i ever bought, it's not worth it, it's such a horrible program. I regret even looking at it. Long story short, take my advice and save your money for something better!

So-So

This application is very limited. You can't necessarily get the timing you want on the beats you make. The program automatically takes your beat & quantizes it according to your set tempo. Sampling could be handier, perhaps even integrated into the program itself. Overall, it's a 3. It could be better.

Cool. (+ suggestion)
