BeaconTrap scans for iBeacons in the background and triggers predefined actions when a beacon becomes close or when you leave a beacon's region.
Fine grained proximity triggers:
- signal level (RSSI)
- knock gesture
You can configure traps with a precondition to only trigger actions when a certain signal level of a beacon is reached or by knocking twice onto your device.
Trigger actions:
- HTTP GET/POST/PUT request
- display notification
Actions triggered by a trap can be HTTP requests and/or displaying a notification.
Traps can be exported and shared, so you don't have to manually enter their configuration on each device.
You will need a beacon from Estimote, Gimbal, Radius Networks, Kontakt or from any other iBeacon manufacturer, in order to use this app.

Crashes on launch

Worked fine for the first beacon I added but once I added 2 it crashed and will not open again. It also is not saving the minor and major values which really means it doesn't work for anything useful.
Doesn’t work at all

Cannot set up ibeacon. Has anyone successfully used this? Great idea but it has to at least allow you to set up all the ibeacon required values.
