I have always appreciated the long articles that give moe detail than other reporting outfits. However, the new update has reduced the length of the articles in favor of more video reporting. The videos do not seem to add more to the articles. Because I am located in an area where satellite is the only option for Internet, I do not get the full benefit of the quality of BBC reporting since video download is limited and slow. I would much rather read the articles than have videos as a substitute. I would like to be able to see pictures and read.

I used to rely on BBC to deliver news which was not tainted by opinion. I can no longer rely on them. Lots of video ads when there didn't used to be. Badapp.

I agree with the previous reviewer. The app was better before the last change. I used to be able to scroll through the available stories quickly to see what I wanted to read/ listen to. Now it takes a lot of fussing. And there really are many more "garbage" stories on the site (and on World Service podcasts too) than there used to be.
Too many crashes

Love this app but lately it crashes all the time. When you reopen the app you have to search for the article you were reading all over again. Very frustrating.
