Hands down, my favorite iOS game. I would not hesitate to buy a part 2 or update. BHL has the perfect balance of RPG elements and playability. I have played and replayed this game so many times, building and experimenting with character builds. I love it. Just wish I could find something even close to compare.

Well done dev and design team on Battleheart Legacy! It’s like diablo 3 for your phone but lighter and more cartoonish. There’s some design decisions I really appreciate in the game that I hope other RPG makers would take note of. Number 1: there is no monster scaling! A wolf is a wolf. A green orc archer is a green orc archer. There’s no monsters that look exactly the same but have an inflated monster level associated with them. So that makes your character level matter. There are level numbers labeled on different areas but that’s just to let you know the difficulty. A level 7 area might have 1 ogre at the end while a level 15 area might jump right into 3 ogres at once but the ogres are the same unless it’s a boss ogre or green ogre . The character progression and classes are handled very well and allow for interesting combinations, and the pacing of power increase from leveling is very good — it’s not too extreme like Diablo. The equipment is fairly good — simplified which makes sense for a phone game. Feels like it could be a bit better in terms of adding special equipment or weapons with weird abilities but maybe that’s in the end game — my character is level 20. Overall, on of the best iPhone games! And no in app fleecing. You get the whole game . I do hope there is a sequel or expansion. Oh one more criticism. The melee classes don’t auto attack if you are out of range. You have to move to them and then attack . So I recommend a ranged or magic character. Dev, please add an option to have melee characters automatically move to and attack when you click on an enemy. Wizard teleport plus necro corpse explosion is really fun btw. You can mix different classes skills do make your own combos.

Downloaded after reading some reviews. Very disappointed. Melee battle bugs abound. To list a few - character will not attack a range weapon enemy unless you constantly s move nearer to them. Npc will constantly get in your way in combat. Game will keep opening menus randomly. Maps are to large to view. Inventory system is extremely obtrusive to use. Spend your money elsewhere...

I have had this game for 3 years now and I can’t get enough of it. I also own BH and BH2. I have been very hopeful that you guys will make a 2nd BH:Legacy since BH2 is now out. Though I still have fun with this one, I am excited to see what you guys could do with a sequel. :-) Even if you guys aren’t making a sequel, this game is awesome. I can’t thank you guys enough for taking the time to polish and make the gameplay so smooth. You guys are heroes! I look forward to playing any and all of your future games! Thank you! :) If you haven’t played this game yet, do it NOW!! :)

I absolutely love this game, really fun gameplay that works well with ios. Wish there were more like it. Wish the story was longer.

100% best game like it on iOS. Man it needs some love though. Last update was YEARS ago. Instead of BH2 I really wish this would have gotten more content or its own sequel

I’m so sick of games selling me energy or using other in app purchases or ads to try to get money. Not only is this game super fun and well thought out if you love RPGs, they let you just buy it and don’t clutter the interface with ads or pop ups or send you notifications trying to get your attention. I love it and I want more games like this!

Would love to see more playable races. Orcs, elves, werewolves... I would not mind paying extra for that. This game is worth it. If you guys make a sequel, please allow for character transfer for those of us who have this one.

Until it crashed over and over again 3/4 of the way thru a boss fight. There’s also a real xp bottleneck and you will find yourself fighting the same battles over and over until you can level. I also found some high level stuff way easier than lower level fights that I went back to. All in all, this is a cute game, but it DEFINITELY needs more content, and clearly more support if it’s going to keep crashing. Bummed cause I played the crap outta this game.
