One of the best games of all time

Love this game!

Good, but needs a XS Max update

JLonzoe

I heard a lot about this game, finally trying it out, and it’s great - but the controls are hardly compatible with the max. Some of the controls are cut off, please update!

Impeccable quality

samarchers

Bastion is the only game that actually made me want to leave a review (literally never have I done this due to laziness) because it is downright incredible. The voice over is amazing, graphics are breathtaking for a mobile game, combat is smooth, controls are crisp. Would recommend to anyone who needs a top tier quality game to play when they feel like fiddling with their phones for something other than instagram

Performance and frame rate issues on iPad Pro

CBergerman15

Just picked up the new iPad Pro with faceid and the frame rate is terrible. Lots of stutter. Bummer because this ran so well on my iPhone years ago

Abandoned; looks terrible on new-gen hardware

Kribensisis

This game hasn’t been updated in a year. Why would anyone download it? It’s not being updated and almost certainly won’t be updated for the new iPads. It’s a complete waste of time to feature this classic on the front page, or pay any attention to it. Play it on PC.

Loving it

jiggaluv42

Worth every penny!! I've been looking for a real game on the app store for a while now.no micro transactions, just great game play.

Overrated

Really an overrated RPG/game/app. There’s no story or plot whatsoever. And the game is practically Diablo with anime graphics. Go play a real game like Diablo instead

Immersive visual and auditory experience

OG supergiant fan

The artwork and music is honestly top notch, and as crisp as if you played on your pc. In comparison to the computer version, I’d say that this one’s gameplay is less satisfying (more of a four star than five). Because there are no keyboard controls, all of the weapons just kind of auto lock onto the closest enemy, and keep jumping to another one once the enemy is dead. I couldn’t figure out a way to get it to lock onto the enemy that I’d want to hit, without just having the Kid shoulder roll closer to it. That means that even when you first start the game without any add-ons to your weapons, the game is almost laughably easy. There were also some weapons, like the dueling pistols or fang repeater, that I rarely used in the computer version, that became really useful in this version. Overall, it’s still a deeply satisfying game that still allows for most of the functionality of the original.

Amazing Game

BeefimusMaximus

One of the most atmospheric games I have ever played. Best. In-game. narrator. ever. He truly sells the experience, I need him to narrate my life. Do yourself a favour and play this game with a great pair of headphones. This and Transistor are two of my favourite games ever, a visual and auditory masterpiece. The gameplay is great too, iOS controls are good and don’t take much away from the experience. My only issue is that my hands hide part of the screen and you don’t truly get to appreciate the art because everything is so small, nitpicks really. BUY THE GAME! It’s worth every cent.

Great

iPhone 5 $$

Great game honestly
