Good concept, with flaws.

I won’t be using this any time soon. There’s no one on it. Further, there is serious problems with the pet friendly location map. I tried adding locations, but no matter what I did, could not get the location right. In fact, the addresses are way off or don’t list for the location I’m trying to add. I selected a building with only one business in it on the map. The address of the building is 10403. Barkhappy thinks the building is at 10491, which could cause major problems for navigation.
Great concept but needs more

Love the concept of this app!! However there are not many people near me using it (I guess it’s not that popular yet) but also the map was lacking for my town. I think users should be able to contribute to the map by adding locations and info about them (for example the dog friendly bars/restaurants in my town were not on the map but I didn’t see any where to add them myself).

We love the BarkHappy App- it lists local places that are dog friendly in any particular city and even allows you to locate other dog owners in your area and set play dates! It’s also handy to have while traveling with pets! Easy to consult the app for restaurant and leisure activities while on the go!

Awesome App! Now I can easily able to book hotels and look for dog friendly restaurants nearby. Really liked the event section.

Seems like a good concept, but demands unnecessary information. I killed and deleted the app when I saw that it was pulling my Facebook friends without asking first. If an app is going to request that sort of data, it should tell the user why.

I took my roommate’s dog to the ugly sweater Christmas party event in Austin this past year. It was hilarious, cute and the dog loved it. Such a great people watching opportunity.

BarkHappy not only helped me find a buddy for my pup but also helped me meet my wife! I met the most beautiful, animal loving human from the app and we (and our dogs) instantly clicked. The app allows you to browse for doggy (and human) buddies and it just so happens I met “the one”. Can’t recommend this app enough!
