Good alternative for reading your favorite books and magazines on the go. Fully accessible as you'd expect.

I have never been able to get this app to work. I am on an iPhone 5s. I cannot find a player to listen to the *.3gp files that I downloaded from the website either. What is the point of using this if I cannot get it to work? I cannot seem to find any assistance on how to fix this app and make it function. There isn't a help section on the app itself besides the user manual which does not give any example of error messages. Please fix.

Due to a known apple itunes bug, I am unable to consistently download to install your app update. I have been waiting 6 weeks for a fix from Apple. Thought you should be aware of Apple hindering your hard work.

Love the update! It's a great app. The cloud syncing might be cool but it's probably not something I would take advantage of personally.

OK, but needs improvement

There are use this app quite often, there are many problems with this app or Waze it could be improved. First, I want to talk about the problems. Though reading a book earlier in the day, sometimes later the same day I get a message that the book file cannot be read. Sometimes I am reading a book and at the same time I get a pop up saying it failed to read it. One aspect of this app I truly dislike is the fact that it drains the battery on my phone faster than it should. When just loading the page to do a search for a book, it takes quite a while for me page just too loud. Then, when trying to load the page of the search done, it takes even longer. Same goes for when loading the page about A book. For no reason, this app closes when I am trying to start a new book or continue listening to a book that was paused. Second, I want to talk about suggestions. First suggestion I have is to have a recommended books section of the Bard page. Many of us are no longer using a cartridge box and would still enjoy having suggestions for books or authors that reminder enjoy. Another suggestion is to have A favorite author section of the app or the Bard main page. This would allow us the opportunity of knowing of when a new book arrives of that author. One thing I would like if I have to reset my phone to the default, is if I could have a digital book shelf of the books that were on my bookshelf and have those books start where I left off. I have had to reset my phone two times and it was a pain due to the fact that I had to start all over. Being able to add a bookmark from the lock screen would be very helpful. That would make a huge difference and how much time I waste trying to get into my phone when I'm out and about. Overall, I enjoy this app but I do feel this app could be made much better.

Maybe it's just me, but why do I have to log in to the app CONSTANTLY? On my kindle fire I stay logged in all the time, every time I open this app I have to log in to get to search BARD. And the other problems other reviewers complain about (battery drain, no hand off syncing between devices, notifications interrupting) make this a 2 star app. While it's great having access to books I would much rather use my player and have to wait weeks/months for a book before using the iOS app.

BUGGY! CAN'T CLOSE WINDOW DURING USE

Bard won't let you do anything while listening to a book anymore. It burns your battery up very fast because now you can't close the window or the book will shut off. I can't slip the phone in my pocket with bards open window without something being accidentally hit on the screen. This is a huge problem that you have been able to fix before. We all love Bard and when its working great its worth ten stars plus, so can you PLEASE FIX IT AGAIN!!!'

I love this app but can we have a folder System for all of our own books or a Way to divide our own books sort of like iTunes does with our music?
