iPad support lacking

I’m very glad Kaplan has a decent app that works well most of the time, but I am exceedingly frustrated that the app does not support split screen on the iPad. Moreover, my “course calendar” repeatedly goes from last years bar prep, which I did not do, to this years as well as has several syncing problems across devices. Honestly, though, split screen support is my biggest complaint.

The app appears responsive and well organized. I like that I may be able to do a lot of the bar review in this app instead of being tied to my laptop 24/7.

I wish this app could be great. I have to sign into the app every time, and download the content to the app every time I log in. Now I’m getting an error message that even after I’ve downloaded the content, there’s no content to be found. And the app is showing all assignments as completed and that’s very false. I don’t want to have to worry about all of these weird tech glitches during studying.

Overall a pretty good app and good program. I like the layout so far. The main issue I have is the videos do not sync properly and save your location or which video you are on. The app tends to close out all the time and you lose your spot. The same thing often happens with quizzes. sometimes even if you suspend the quiz I'll go back and all my answers will disappear. Overall though this is an excellent app and great for studying on the go. I use this almost exclusively and rarely use the web version on my computer.

Buggy, slow app that doesn’t support split-screen on the iPad. Qbank question sets don’t sync correctly between the website and the app, and there is no good way to view the slides and the video together for lectures while taking notes on the bar sheets. The iPhone app doesn’t consistently save completed quizzes, causing questions to be reused and the “Overall analysis” function to be useless.
Never had these issues with BARBRI- Crashes and Video Wont Play

With my first bar exam, I specifically switched from Kaplan to Barbri because the difference in the app. Now I'm stuck with Kaplan for my second state bar exam and it is very frustrating. The Kaplan app loses your place, crashes when I pause, and some videos still won’t load. Not to mention the skip ahead and 1.5x speed isn't available on my iPhone app. I’ve told Kaplan about my concerns multiple times and the last I heard was that my problem needed to be escalated and that was a nearly a week ago. If I had the same opportunity to switch to Barbri this time, I’d do it- the Kaplan app is that bad by comparison.

I’ve used the app for about a year now. I can’t complain. They are up to date with all of the android or Apple updates. All the material you need can be used right on your phone. It is awesome!

This app is so glitchy. I have re download it every time it closes which is really frustrating and sometimes the videos are so slow to play that I lose my opportunity to work through a lecture (like on my very limited window of time during my lunch break). The app needs a lot of work.
