Band is sooo underrated. As far as gaming apps go it is best of the best. It's better than GroupMe, Line, WhatsApp, etc... It's easy to use, has soooo many features and their customer support is awesome. Thank you!
Handy app

Nice app, and useful for coordinating our family of clans in Clash of Clans. However, on the latest update, words are broken up across lines on iOS. Part of the word is on one line, and the rest of the word is on the next line without any kind of hyphenation.

I used LINE previously and stumbled upon BAND because they’re from the same company. They’re kinda the same, you can use stickers and stuff, but band is more about meeting new people through online communities. Relatively it’s a newer app, but already has a huge variety of fun content to browse through. You can join “bands” or groups and talk to a bunch of people online about your interests. Personally I like using the video game sections, such as League of Legends and Hearthstone, to gain more knowledge about my gameplay. There are also a ton of funny/meme groups to browse through for a laugh or when i’m bored. I like how the app keeps on updating and getting better/easier to use with each update. So far no bugs.
BAND is a descent group app. Could be better.

- It is slow in general, and especially when it comes to chats. - Messages take a long time to get delivered sometimes that it's VERY annoying. -Should be an option for admins to manually send personalized notifications (of events, polls...) - The notices bar should have more importance and a notification should be sent to all members when something is added there. - You should put an option to choose a band as the primary band. Cz I don't want to go to 'home' tab then choose my band to enter and see the feed. I want to open the app and find the band already open. Cz i only am in one. Stickers are for $1.99 each. Seriously?

This app is great. I love having a band for all my interests and being able to share things with people who have common interests! I think it'll be better when even more people join it.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT. It's horrible. There is a group of people that will take your picture and pretend to be you and say awful things. When you contact the admins about it, they do absolutely nothing. Trust me, just don't do it.
Sharing posts across groups

Why are there suddenly so many restrictions on how many times you can share things across different groups? I teach university students and have many classes who need the same information. It's really inconvenient. Also, I'd like to be able to post files from Google Drive since our work files are shared from there.

I use BAND as a planner or calendar for the clubs and groups I run on campus. I can post important dates, and group members can post when they have conflicts or special events in the calendar. Notices are easily posted on the BAND and articles can be shared with all members. I can even use the album to share photos, polling function to vote democratically and chat to speak to members one on one or in real time.
