Won’t fill iPad screen

Dfiddy

The game fills 20% of my iPad screen is all

Great game

Bobiscooldotcom

This game has been working great for me on my iPad Pro, no glitches, no time outs, honestly it’s better then the original abuse I don’t need to keep changing discs, this game does deserve 5 stars and it needs a newer review to prove it costs 10 bucks but I think it was worth it for me cause of the memories I get from playing it again.

Keyboard support

This game had keyboard support removed.

Still not fixed

If you google “restore purchases Baldur’s gate iOS”, it’ll take you to some forums where paying customers are complaining because they’re not able to do just that. These are from over a year ago and Beamdog has promised to patch out the bug in 2.6. To this day, nothing has been done. We STILL can’t restore our extra content purchases. Be wary of forking over your money because beamdog will fork you out of it.

Love it ?✌?

XP cap

Booster001

Not overly thrilled that I get XP caped at 161000XP. On PC i was able to raise that. On iPad I have not figured it out. HEY DEVELOPER, WHAT GIVES?

Migraine Inducer

Honestly reading some of the reviews stating “The Tutorial needs a tutorial” are a little over exaggerated. It’s not that you need a more in-depth tutorial, it’s that this game honestly needed an entire Overhaul before coming to tablets. I know some people have rose tinted glasses when it comes to this game probably due to being from their childhood but it’s got some real issues. 1.)The Ui system is hot garbage, over complicated, and not easy to understand. Even when it’s being read out to you in the tutorial it’s hard to come to grips with it. 2.)The combat system is garbage. It goes until you hit pause, and god forbid if you miss press the screen, it’s one of those games where it can get your entire party wiped. Honestly most of my complaints come back to the Ui being made so poorly, even in it’s supposed “Enhanced” edition. You can’t tell what your objectives are, you can’t tell what it searchable or not, and it’s so easy to miss loot laying around, or hidden away in something you had no idea you could interact with. There is also the issue of the trap system. You need a Rogue to find traps right? Well for some reason my character would constantly come out of “not attack” and just charge out of stealth into monsters scouting ahead of the party for traps. And god forbid if you miss a key item in this game. There is just so much wrong here, and not enough good. And trust me I love a good crunchy rpg. TT or on computer, I thought this would be a nice cheap game to play while I’m traveling or bored and boy was I wrong. After an hour of gameplay I’ve had to crack 3 tylonel to kill an oncoming migraine. Btw Navi has nothing on the NPCs screaming at you and interrupting whatever you’re doing to do what they want you to do every SINGLE TEN SECONDS. If you’re an old fan you may enjoy this, Idk, but if you’re new to this game/genre try it on steam, play it for under 2 hours and decide if you want to refund it or not before daring buying this.

Great game, terrible for iPad Pro.

Random Potato Farmer

The game does not support the full resolution of the iPad Pro 11. There are two large black bars on both sides of the screen. However the game is very fantastic! This game is rather difficult, and it helps to understand D&D rules to get the most of it. Highly recommended, if you don’t mind the game not utilizing the full screen of an iPad Pro.

Unable to travel

DisapointedInTheDiceRoll

Played, and traveled a few times, now I'm about to go to the Friendly Arm Inn, and clicking the travel button just takes me back to my current location. Pretty sad for as much money as I paid. Getting help or support is so complex it's a total deterent on the iPad.

Horrible on IOS

done343

I purchased this game and the second one based on the strength of the name, but on IOS the controls and gameplay are miserable.
