The app will not allow me to add any work experience. It will not scroll down to where I can press save. I have deleted and redownloaded with the same issue. I clicked “Contact Support” on the app and nothing happens.

Looks great but dysfunctional. There was a bug where I couldn’t scroll on the experience page. Restarted the app, still wouldn’t work. Had to uninstall and still wont work. Ended up just listing it in my profile description.

I just created an account, however I cannot scroll down on the job experience page to list more experience and to save what I’ve marked down. So employers looking won’t see my work experience. Also while browsing through potential jobs, it will allow my to scroll down one time and then it begins to bug out and I cannot scroll any further. Fix this and it will be a great app, and is a great idea.

Great concept, not well thought out

I’m currently suspended, should lift as of today(1/3/21). I got a low score and to many withdrawals. And that’s where my issues lie. The company doesn’t get notifications that I’m withdrawing. I even texted the number to the supervisor the night I had to withdraw late. No response. I’m assuming that if you’re using this app, you have a full time job and like the money for fun or to give yourself a little walking around cash. I got a low score due to leaving after 6 hours because of a Emercancy and I was “on my phone to much”. A night shift making signs with a skeleton crew and the amount of signs I banded will say otherwise but whatever. Poor company anyways. So not that I care about the low score, but there isn’t any place where you can dispute anything. Which can cause you do be suspended for something that most people and companies don’t care about who pay less then 10 bucks an hour. ( I probably sound entitled but whatever. I’m being honest in my review. Which is why you’re reading this) if you can find a job where you’re at. They are going to be companies with high turn over rates. For whatever that may be. Bacon really needs to go back to the drawing board and fix not only company policies, but fix all the broken bugs and glitches within the app. So I’m giving them a 1 star. Because they haven’t fixed anything from the past reviews I’ve seen. Like the job experience. Can’t scroll.

What a punderful world

I have used this app about a week or so now and have completed 2 shifts, with several more lined up. I have thoroughly enjoyed both jobs I have done. I wish there was more jobs/companies to select from, but that’s no fault of the app itself, especially where it’s fairly new to my understanding. I have not experienced any problems with my pay outs. My payments have been sent to Stripe promptly, and while I didn’t get the money the very next day Stripe does send the money out daily. Reading about Stripe, the amount of time it takes from when they send out the money to when it hits your account can vary (I read specifically web banks take longer than standard bank accounts, for example.) In addition, if you have any clue as to have banks operate (and I am not claiming to be an expert, but base this on my own experiences) you will understand that they process ACH deposits just once a day, typically in the early morning hours. I would be willing to bet that it a lot of the delay, because let’s say your bank runs ACH at 4:00am and Stripe sends their information at 5:00am then you aren’t going to get your money that day. That’s the finance world, not the app. You’re still going to get your money a lot faster than if you were waiting for a full paycheck, so if you need to be paid faster maybe donate plasma, or ask a friend. Also I was paid and rated faster on one job than the other, so some delay may be the company you worked for, in which case it’s a good thing you don’t ever have to go back. I wanted to earn extra money without getting burned out working two jobs, as well as try out different positions than I have worked in the past. It’s not formal work experience, but it’s still experience. Also you do pay like .10 an hour from your wages to have some protection in the event of injury (I saw an opt out option, but .10 isn’t much for a little protection,) and assuming you earn over $600 a year those wages will be reported to the IRS in the form of a 1099. Don’t listen to the reviews saying it’s not legit, they simply aren’t true. If you want to earn extra money without a commitment, or just try something new for a change, this is a great option.

Do yourself a favor and don’t download. I have been a bacon worker since August 2020 and has some minor issues but never as bad as today. Long story short I was accepted at a job, the job cancel, I had no notification of the job cancel. Arrive to work at 0700 and was told by the employer that he canceled the job. The job was 33 miles and 50mins from my house. I spoke to bacon support and the only thing I was offered was 15 dollars. The shift was a 11 hour shift for $110 plus bonus. You’re suppose to get paid half of the job cancel or you show up and sent home early. I will not be using bacon ever again just trying to save somebody else the stress and anger of dealing with what i dealt with.

The job search and placement is good, however it says daily cash payouts and sometimes it takes two or three days before it even gets put into transit. Still helpful but really slow
