I’ve been in a number of situations where I guessed the roll before AI even rolled. The dice are not random for AI - it’s not even subtle.

The dice generator seems to cheat at the right time in the game. Good luck winning at all.

The rolls in this game are absolutely rigged and not random, I play as single player and level hard (100) and can predict in certain layouts of the game exactly the next roll over and over Just don’t be stu... like me to pay for the ad free version.

This game appears not to have random rolls in either computer or online games. The developer states it does but the laws of probability say otherwise.

When you get put up on the bar it’s amazing how many double 6’s and 5’s happen but when the board is wide open? Not as much. Game is rather enjoyable although it keeps the iPad awake if you don’t press the sleep wake button to lock. Even after an hour the game was on. Tweaks needed to keep the game feeling honest. Will totally rewrite a review when that happens.

is it me or do a lot of free backgammon apps seem to ‘go on a roll’ dice-wise more often than chance would suggest?

Just play it more than 2 times, you can actually guess the rolls...really too bad, I like it other than that. I keep playing because occasionally I have a higher score than my opponent and I know I’ll win...wish it were random!!!!
