This app is empowerment, with no fees I know I'm getting the most out of my money. Just moved my rainy day to all cash so I can get it when i need it.

It was good at first besides the fact that they take weeks to get your money back. And now I'm trying to remove my money from the account because I decided to stop using it, it charged me $40 out of what I have saved, a $30 return item fee and my auto deposit amount of $10, when I turned my auto deposit off and also changed it to $0, before I withdrew the money. And I tried calling their support number and they don't have anyone to answer. So I had to send an email, now let's see how long that takes.

Solid service. Easy to use. No fees.

I’ve been using WiseBaynan for more than 1.5 years now and I love it. I previously used Betterment and Wealthfront. I read all the robo investor reviews and tried these three. I actually tried WiseBanyan last being skeptical of the “free” service. Both Betterment and Wealthfront just cost more than I was willing to pay. Additionally, Betterment kept too much of my portfolio in overseas investments. I’m really only comfortable with about 30% overseas and it was at or over 40% at the time. WiseBanyan is easy to use and has a nice feature of a cash account for saving (no interest on this account though). I use it for holding cash on the sidelines to quickly invest if there’s a dip in the market. Yes, I’m an unabashed market timer. The market has been great this year and my stock/bond mix in WiseBanyan has performed nearly identically to the same mix on my Betterment account. I signed up for WiseBanyan’s tax loss harvest service about 6 months ago and it still hasn’t cost me anything. It’s capped at $20/month. Even if I were being charged the full $20/month it still less than the fees I would be charged at Betterment for the size of the portfolio I hold roughly @ ~$100K. There’s another review on here that I feel compelled to speak to. It concerns fees. During the course of the last year I emptied my WiseBanyan account once, after a few months. I received no fee or charge whatsoever. At a different point during the last year, around the Brexit vote, I pulled half of the money I had invested out and sent it to my checking account.....again zero fees or charges. Pulling money out is a little slow. I believe it took around 4 or 5 business days. When I dug into why it took so long it had to do with finalizing the sell transactions made before transferring the money to the bank. This actually is the same as my CapitolOne brokerage account except in that account you see the funds as cash that aren’t available to transfer for the same amount of time. After roughly a week you they are then available to transfer. WiseBanyan is an extremely solid service and I highly recommend it for potential robo investors of all types. I think it’s particularly attractive for cheapskates like me who either can’t tolerate or can’t afford management fees beyond the actual ETF fees. Frankly, no management fee robo investing is the future of robo investing and WB was there first. Several of the big players now have free robo investing service as well but they seem to offer only their own ETFs on them as opposed to WiseBanyan who have a neutral stance on the ETFs offered so you can be confident that they are offering the ETFs with the lowest fees. Lastly, I apologize for the rambling review but you can invest with WiseBanyan with confidence. It’s a good service.

Love all the new free financial advice they provide after you answer a bunch of questions about your current financial situation. So helpful!

New paid features made it even worse

Professional Zebra

I recently opted in in Fast money to avoid fees from WiseBanyan and to have my money deposited into the account immediately. I was told that my instant deposit from last Friday would not be same day but would occur this past Monday. Fine. Funds were available. Then I come to see that not only did it take a 5 business days for the transfer to happen— even longer than before, I now was being changed $90 in fees. I had made this same transfers before, which somehow failed with WiseBanyan and had been charged $30. Now after signing up to pay them monthly so that money is pulled from my account the day I make the transfer so I avoid fees, it not only takes longer to make the transfer, but you get 3 times the fees. Customer service just justifies their terrible business practices. This is a garbage service that does the opposite of invest your money.

Awesome app for savings

Love it! Great money app. Super easy to save money and invest. I've been able to customize a lot of things on WiseBanyan which is great. Now I have my own goals, been able to do deposits really easily, set up an autodeposit to match my paydays. Watching it all work and earn money is one of the best parts. Plus it's all free
