This is a wonderful story with many great lessons about creativity, patience and determination. Kids learn about using found objects and recycled materials to make sculptures. I love the extra activities and info about kinetic artists. Well done!

What a great story! Integrating artistic concepts and the creative process seamlessly into a fun story with unexpectedly wonderful illustrations, the developer has a hit on her hands. Axel is bright and funny and oh so talented. Best of all, users can easily learn how to build on their own innate talents to mimic his experience. The best storybook app my children and I have experienced to date! I'd PAY for this one!

How do I read the book and get it to read the story? It keeps blacking out?

Love this app! As an elementary Art teacher interested in sharing a love of science and invention with my students, I find this book app to be a wonderful resource. Emphasizes thinking outside of the box, creative invention, persistence, collaboration, learning from mistakes, all about the creative process... Beautifully illustrated, great ebook app.

This is a great book for kids in early elementary years, it is both fun and educational. It teaches kids to make the most of there unique talents, and how to keep working, against the odds. My daughter with special needs like that what made Axel different could be used to make him better.:-)
