It is not very clear what functions it is providing, and the upgrade will provide some missing elements. It seems to check wifi security, Internet contact (vertical axis of graph not labeled!), photo file protection, which will be lost, if you discontinue! Not an antivirus & malware software?
Nice with drawbacks due to Apple/Google

I tried this for several weeks and liked the easy setup. However, whether it's because Apple has relaxed its security by opening up to developers (my phone is a mess), or because the ultra invasive Google is now involved, I was over taken by at least 6 Avast control accounts (not mine) and OpenDNS literally connected 1000s of sites! Not their fault, but defeats the purpose of VPN.

The check for fraudulent websites feature turns itself off frequently. My information was hacked so in fairness it could have been not on at the time.

I have been using this iPhone for years (ya.. need to take a new one) and it has always been nice to and protective of me. No complaints! Lately, I am noticing few app crashes and sudden changes in battery percentages. I didn’t jail break nor I usually download any inappropriate content as far as my awareness helps. Somehow, I felt like I need some help. And, I don’t even remember as to how many years I have been using the ever-caring Avast on my laptops time after time. Now, when I feel like I may need help and when Avast mobile security shows up, I have just installed it from AppStore. If it’s something other than Avast, I would not have dared to add a third-party security on my iPhone. Just bcz it’s Avast, I have taken a chance so that I can stay in peace. Let’s see?.. may be my phone got old helping me with my tasks and deeds over the years?.. I need her to stay perfect at least for one more year. I love my phone ? Thanks
