I love this app! It helped make my own small music label but, I wish it was better with the iPhone X, it’s a bit harder to use on the new phone.

This was one of my favorite apps to sketch/jam/experiment on, with a great sequencer, great free sounds, and intuitive use. My main gripe with the new update is that Auxy 5 gutted the drum sound selection available for free, paring 8 pre-made kits down to 2. I don’t expect everything to be free, but taking a significant amount of content away in an update seems like a low blow.

you guys totally ruined it, this update added so many need feature yet ruined the whole experience with making the sound so easily, all my drum kits from buying packs all disappeared and only show the ones the app comes with and the subscription ones & also removed all the tweaking you used to be able to do with drums like reverb etc. why did you guys do this, it’s upsetting to spend over 15$ on a phone app and now want to delete it cause they screwed it up

For starters, I loved this app. It was great for making music. But with the Auxy 5 update, they completely restructured the drum system, and removed a ton of sounds unless you have the premium subscription. Basically, if you arent willing to pay, this app is worthless now. Hopefully they revert to the way it was soon, but I doubt it.

The best daw on iOS just got even better

This is actually my first review I’ve ever left on the App Store but I had to because this product was just too fantastic now too. This app used to be pretty dang good but now with the inclusion of the massive library of packs that they have added with the subscription-based service this truly has become on par with the industry standards out there. As a matter fact as a music producer, I’ve been using exclusively Auxy for about a year now, and my songs are sounding great. You can hear some examples at SoundCloud.com/soulmass

Auxy just has a really great sound to it with carefully curated sound sculpting functions making it very simple and quick to get professional quality tracks (sound wise). That’s the best part about it, otherwise it would be just another beatmaking app. Making top notch tracks on your phone is now possible. However, you can only make the music by sequencing in a piano roll. There is no live play or recording. This has become increasingly disappointing over time as there are now more and more options to do this with other apps right here on iOS, playing and recording on the touch screen which is FUN. If you can tap a finger to a beat, you can do it! And that’s what this app needs now more than ever, after having introduced a sound subscription service with its own quirks, a big injection of pure FUN. Because the musical experience is more than just drawing notes in a grid and touchscreen apps make it fun for people LIKE ME who have NEVER played an instrument, to jam out as though they can. (Helloooo, scale lockable virtual keys/pads) So yeah it’s frustrating that you have all these AMAZING SOUNDS, and yet I can’t actually play a single one of them. This makes for an app that, while extremely powerful, feels a bit rigid and difficult to fully lose yourself in the music. But what do I know, I don’t play an instrument, only the touch screen!

This is about 5.0. I’ve loved this app until you take away the ability to adjust many things. Tone, shape, compress, everything except volume, low pass, and high pass. You advertised Auxy as THE music making app that allows you to adjust so many things?? My question is W H A T A R E Y O U D O I N G? Making trap beats with this app is still cool, but really? I mean I love the new setup with the melodies and drums but really? Who decided to TAKE AWAY that element you’ve been advertising for so long?? Everything is great and I love that you’re adding new content but SERIOUSLY??? I mean everything has its flaws but this is rediculous. Bring back the ability to adjust so much like you’ve promised young music makers for ever!! Still a five star tho ;) The payment is ok I guess and it’s still well over 50% cheaper than the base version of FL studio. I can handle that. But to make it worth my money and for Auxy studio to be perfect you need to bring back the adjustment in this app. Please? Also THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAMPLING :D

"This app freaking ROCKS!!! Please don't add in-app purchases." I said that a year ago, and gave the app five stars. With v5.0, you guys have locked all of the original sounds behind a paywall. I'm fine with what you guys are doing with the subscription, but please remove the pricing for the original instruments. I've been a loyal customer, and even recommended the app to some friends. I don't like what you all have done with the update; please unlock the original sounds.

Love it, but I refuse to pay for yet another subscription to an app/streaming service/magazine. I’m being nickeled and dimed to death, and can’t afford yet another monthly payment for something.

I liked this app until the most recent update. All the drum sounds that I used in previous songs I can no longer use. And it’s not just that. Since the update, it just seems harder to use. If they kept everything the way it was, I would have put a better review.
