Awesome Yes!

The only problem that I can say which made me give only three stars, is because I just bought a new Smaller Midi Synth from Novation an it would be Amazing to be able to use this Professional Studio app with MIDI. #midiplease

The Subscription is worth it

Produk Music

Just a quick PSA to the people who are turned off by the subscription based system: It’s so worth it. 1) if you’re really seeking to write high quality music, buy it 2) it blows the old drums out of the water 3) not that hard to dig up 5 bucks a month 4) new content every month If you’re not buying this, you’re missing out. At least get the free trial.

I'd gladly pay $50 (one time) for Auxy...

and an additional $5-$10 per sound pack even seems reasonable. But you guys just HAD to get on the monthly subscription bandwagon didn't you? This is frustrating because it seriously increases the entry cost for customers to simply grab a-la-carte sound packs that seem useful for their specific styles. Instead, we now have to basically commit to pay $60 every year if we want to expand our sound palette at all (and then LOSE those sounds if we decide $5 per month isn't worth it — which it isn't). Seriously guys, where's the middle ground? Ignoring your pricing strategy, you've got a *six-star* app in my opinion — and that's worth paying good money for. You've done something really great with "export to MIDI" in that it allows me to write tunes on the go, and easily get those MIDI stems off my iPhone and into Ableton for further production and refinement. This feature alone makes Auxy a serious production tool, and it's the ONLY iPhone audio app that I consider to be such. Thank you so much for keeping this part of the free feature set. Features like this are absolutely VALUABLE and I feel they SHOULDN'T be free... but y'all aren't Adobe or Ableton. You're not SO critical to my workflow that you've earned the right to just withdraw from my account on a regular basis. Although I'd happily pay a one-time fee for them, I'll continue to use the awesome free features and sing Auxy's praises... but if you'd like to collect more of my money over the long term, you'll have to make sound packs more affordable. No collection of sound packs could ever be so good that a recurring fee to access them would seem reasonable. For your sake, I hope the subscription model is all you hoped it would be — but for my sake, I hope other customers will agree that $5 every month is an absurd pay wall for what you're offering.

Update

bredavis98

I loved this app until the update said I have to pay a monthly subscription instead of buying packages..... I would much rather buy packages. I already have monthly plans for 5 different uses and I really don’t want to add this as well cause it’s not worth it.

iCloud Issue

AnonymousMF

I have an issue with iCloud where it’s saying I need to restart it to get the data back... when it’s already there. Once I got my new phone I started up iCloud and got Auxy back but I’m unable to use it because I didn’t have files saved for it on the last phone but I do on this one

Well that didn’t last long

Loved this app at first and about the time I learned it enough to start shoving money at you guys for all those wonderful sounds........weeeellll ya screwed it up by makin it subscription based. Lemme say something. I take my paid apps AND free ones as serious as my actual gear. The ones that are worthy (which Auxy was) I don’t intend on ever getting rid of them. I’ll have my ielectribe 10 Years from now. Cost. 20$. I’ll have my gr16 groove box app 10 Years from now. Cost again 20$. I’ll have my iMPC 10 Years from now. My Ruismaker my caustic my lil drum machine all 10 Years from now. Cost. Under 50$. You see my point. To own auxy 10 Years from now would run me $600 usd. 600 friggin dollars are you serious!!!!???? Yep. You are. That’s a shame. One customer lost. Oh and I’ve read the other reviews and also think not addressing your customers but rather using the same scripted response is a very lame and tacky business practice. Can’t even respect that. So please save it unless you have a sensible response Again not a copy of the same response you gave the other guys. Lol that made no sense either. Peace be with you

Depressing

! Ac312 !

They wont let you have the other packs that come with the app only the standard sounds. That’s understandable, I dont get why they wont even let you export the beats you made with the standard sounds they give you for free after you spent time making a beat. I understand not letting us export beats you have to paybfor but the free ones too? Really? Im going to beatmaker pro this was a sad waste of time and the app had so much potential.

Hands down best free sequencer: edit

First review: I've been using it for 10 minutes so far and it's so clean. I can't recommend this enough; I can already see myself using this to quickly and efficiently jot down ideas in a pinch. Solid — well done. Second review: The 3-star rating is directly related to the new subscription model. I’ve seen too many companies do it and it’s a clear middle finger to the customer. It would be an injustice to the community to not weigh in myself. The app itself is still great and the functionality updates are incredibly intuitive, there’s just no need to make a subscription-based model solely for the access to new sounds alone.

Greatest studio for beginners!

AbandonedKingdom197

I remember when I first downloaded this app. I was doubtful at first only because most other apps only consist of preset rhythms and melodies. This app exceeded the boundaries of music creation on mobile because it gives you the freedom to do practically anything you can think of doing! There are several different varieties and possibilities for making music. The makers of this app even went as far as to put different sound packs and effects to give the user greater ability to not only make the music or listen to it, but to feel it, too. Auxy 5 is the best mobile music studio out there, and has potential for a lot more!

Very Fun But Bring Back Midi

Dude this is the best but

Very fun to mess around with but it needs midi support before it becomes something I’ll integrate into my studio. I’ve heard this app had midi out at one point. What happened to that feature???
