Excellent app and great value. Enjoy my Autoweek. Especially when I am traveling, the downloaded copies come in handy. Don't understand the comments about bugs, it works 100% of the time! Thanks for an excellent app and ditto subscription for my iPad pro.
The app occasionally simply closes itself and must be relaunched. As it doesn’t return to the last opened page or issue, this is inconvenient at best. I use an iPad Air 2 and find the text size to be just large enough for comfortable reading, but on a smaller screen, the digital replica of the print magazine involves a great deal of zooming and panning. Think of it as looking at pictures of the paper issues, rather than viewing a typical website, and the difference is clear. I don’t have a long history of use, but another glaring omission is feedback on the Restore Purchases process. After several tries then waiting, this process worked, however as it worked after an indeterminate time, status of the process should be presented, similar to the download process. The price for a year of Autoweek is excellent. Image quality is excellent.
Not for the first time, this refresh wipes out your Autoweek library. The instructions provided for iTunes subscribers don't work and I cannot access or re-download my library of past and current issues. I love this magazine, but the platform is a deal killer.
New app. Restore purchases does not work. From bad to worse; I’m done with this app and magazine.
The app was recently upgraded and since then, I can’t read any of the issues of Autoweek. Following the instructions, I created a new account and signed in. Then I tried to Restore iTunes Purchases which has failed every time. Now I have a subscription to something I can’t read because the app changed. Wonderful.
It appears that zinio is taking over many of the magazine apps and unfortunately that is terrible. Just as they did with entertainment weekly and sports illustrated, ziniopro has now screwed up Autoweek, and it appears my motor trend digital app as well. Logins fail, restore purchases doesn’t work. It took me two weeks of email exchanges to get EW and SI to work, just not doing that again and will just let my digital apps elapse. If I could give zero stars I would.
My subscription is still current but after the app update, I no longer can access it. What gives?!
New update keeps me from restoring library, rendering my subscription worthless. Please fix.
I enjoy Autoweek but since the app was updated I can’t restore my purchases. I’ve tried multiple times but the instructions are poorly written or the app is messed up. My subscription expires in 60 days. I won’t be renewing
Now it is even worse! Previously I could read for about 60 seconds before it crashed, now after doing all the proper steps I can’t even restore purchases! Nothing is there except confirmation that signed in... I’ve been not reading a magazine I pay for for months because of this app! This level of magazine tech on my brand new iPad Pro with the latest IOS? By coincidence, last night I complained to Autoweek before wondering about an app update. What’s next? Cancellation due to frustration? Been reading the paper and later, the iPad version for over two decades combined. The iPad version always a pleasure, sorry I let my paper subscription lapse. I can’t believe I’m writing a negative review connected to a magazine I love. Fix it for REAL this time! Missing Denise too.
