Wouldn’t buy again better choices

Besides the unit died in the first month and I really had to bother customer support for a replacement For this 100 dollar unit. My biggest issue maps have such minimal information on it it’s hard to pinpoint location and see where the car is parked adjacent to the surroundings. Updating is very slow when live. What I really didn’t like also is they require you to enter your Vin number to set up the device which is really outrages they have no business stealing my information. Information is being sold back to insurance companies this is really not good they can re-rate you with this information. No Geo fencing is a real issue too. Only good thing I can say is when the vehicle is a parked you get an immediate notification. Would not buy again my old Zubie was better.

Where is the clear engine light feature.

This IMO is the main feature of the legacy app(s). Without it this app is no better than any of the tracking ones.

Broke login in new version

New app doesn’t let me login any more. Just sits at a black screen with a cancel button. Now I can login but it doesn’t show me my two cars. They turned something fantastic into a piece of garbage. Then just like that it’s back to working like it should. Hard to give it a good review when it behaves so iradically.

They’ll abandon you

I spent $200 on 2 of these and they worked well for 3 years. Then Automatic Labs just decided to EOL my units and remove the only version of the app that supports them. Unbelievable. Avoid this - there are more trustable companies doing this same

App has bugs

App keeps logging me out, wouldn’t be quite as frustrating if it was Face ID compatible. Also, the app will sometimes give me an error message and I will need to close the app and restart it. Besides the bugs in the app I think the product itself works pretty good.

TONS of login issues.

I’ve tried reinstalling three times and I still have bizarre login issues. This app needs a sign of life. I’m frustrated I took a chance on this.

Features Behind Paywall / Will Not Buy Again

Purchased the 1st Gen Automatic Adapter in 2013, then discontinued in 2016. Purchased the 2nd Gen in 2016, discontinued in 2019. I refuse to spend another $100. What is wrong with the HARDWARE? Nothing. They just want you to refresh it yearly. Do they think they are Apple?
