Not enough file sources

Dldudley

Seems like a useable application, however I have a problem with using it as I can’t access the file storage sources where we store our files. We don’t use Dropbox for storage, having our own private file storage server, but the app doesn’t provide the capability of accessing either it, or internal file storage. Bad design there...

Works, but doesn’t show complete drawing some items missing

mr unshure

Still cannot see attribute text in blocks or wipeouts properly displayed. AutoCAD release 13 ran in dos using intel 486DX 66mhz computers and was pretty functional, is there a way to port this or another version of AutoCAD to iOS for good functionality? This app feels like a work in progress. Apps name is “AutoCAD” I expect at least some level of AutoCADLT performance. Not gonna lie, I do like this app when it does work, for the price. I’d rather pay a one time fee instead of a subscription. One thing I do like is the quick developer response to fix things.

GREAT FOR MARK UPS & FIELD COMMUNICATION

SC LAND DESIGNER

For a free app, it's awesome. All serious drafting should be done in AutoCAD on your desktop. Use this mobile app for small revisions out in the field and for take offs when not in the office. Please don't expect to be able to draft complex drawings with this app. Do that in AutoCAD, then save dwg to Google Drive to review in app for small revisions. Especially helpful while in the field on a jobsite. A PDF viewer and ability to set scale and see preview would be a very helpful update. But for a free app, AutoDesk has created this useful and easy app.

Lost my account

OldToNew

I had a design on autocad 360 that took me a month to do. Autodesk did an upgrade on the app and completely lost my account. Of course they go on taking the $5 per month. I chatted with autodesk support and it was completely useless. They told me to talk to apple and gave me no recourse.

No Box Support, cannot edit objects in DWG files

amosdad

I started a premium subscription and immediately regretted it. Firstly, the support person keeps answering complaints in reviews as ”this is Sketchbook and not AutoCAD”. No sir, this IS being sold as AutoCAD on the iPad and yes, it has very little resemblance to the AutoCAD on desktop. Secondly, there is no Box support for cloud access and I depend entirely on Box. Finally, objects in DWG files created elsewhere in AutoCAD, Draftsight, etc cannot be edited or manipulated in this App. All one can do is create New objects. This IS really a “sketchbook” and not a professional tool. Very disappointing.

Needs work on the basics

Wllarsen

Can set or change dimension text size. No stretch mode. Can only select 200 things. Really not much good to me.

It’s Great

I’m so happy

Great app but could do more on iPad

Jayhawksm

I love using this mobile cad, I rely on it. It very powerful. Can do lots. Has its limits though. Object limits? Really? I’m pretty sure my iPad Pro can handle more than 200 objects. And why can we only view paper space? Would love to be able to output new drawings in the field. Overall really a great mobile cad. Please keep developing it to meet the capabilities of our powerful devices.

Great!
