With iPadOS now out I would love to see where AutoDesk takes AutoCAD. They added X-Ref support but I would love to see mouse support now that it is available. The precision of a mouse helps with CAD work. I know they have to make it usable with just the ipad itself but this could be the ultimate portable CAD machine. It flies through drawings better than my workstation. I look forward to more features coming.

Took all the usefulness of the app and trashed it. Please go back a few updates ago because that worked awesome

This app is advertised to be able to do things it can not do. The tutorial videos get you all geeked up about how the tool converts sketched shapes to actual AutoCAD shapes. The “tutorial” videos also show how the user can call up a Keypad feature(it has a name even) that does not exist in the app. I made a big mistake buying this app. Autodesk support nicely told me tough luck, apple says I’m SOL. I’d give it zero stars if I could. DONT LET THIS BE YOU! DO NOT BUY! Update I received a canned message from “A Developer” informing me again how important it is to them that they get the software right. Those guys still don’t get it. THEY ARE ADVERTISING FUNCTIONALITY THAT DOES NOT EXIST! AND THEY ARE AWARE THEY ARE DOING IT! ISN’T THAT FRAUD?

Useless; can’t edit objects, snapping is slow. This feels like a poorly executed early piece of betaware. If you need to edit native .dwg files, look elsewhere! Once drawn, objects can’t be precisely edited by entering correct lengths. They can only be edited by dragging control points, a slow and tedious process. Interface is extremely slow, have to hover over points for app to snap to endpoint, or it will miss it entirely. Ditto for measurements. What used to be a great app has been ruined, and I still have about 9 months left on my subscription (now cancelled). Autodesk is forcing their users to pay for nonfunctional software and has refused to restore the older, working version. In case there’s a developer standard message below, for the record I CAN draw objects. It’s just impossible to edit them! And yes, I sent a message to feedback about what this app needs to do. Considering the poor state of this update, they obviously didn’t listen!

It wasn’t to bad as a reference tool to check existing drawings, after the las update it all went to trash, now my Ipad won’t even let me open DWG files, it goes straight to Autodesk360, from there I have to save it to an folder then wait hrs for it to sync then open the file, a lot of useless steps

It is really frustrating at the moment since the tools I was using almost every day to annotate and make field notes have been disabled. To me this was the main convenience when onsite with my iPad Pro. Really guys, was that necessary? Do you really want me getting used to paper plans again? Adding to that, it seems the ortho function is gone although I notice something called snap tracking with a lot of angle settings. Could that be it? Problem is I am not smart enough to work it out and can’t find any online document to explain it. On the up side, it is great you can finally change layer color after creating one and it looks like lineweight options are on the way. One feature I would really love is to be able to freeze layer by picking a line or entity. That would be a huge convince when working with a lot of laters. How about it guys?

You can do 80% on everything you can do on a pc, the other 20% I either can’t figure out or you can’t do it

Put an asterisk at the top of the description saying that this isn’t free. I downloaded the app for 0 reason.

I thought I’d give this software a go. Pretty mediocre. But looked and found it self renews for 50/year for pretty crappy software. I’d expect pretty darn good for that price. BEWARE!!!
