Good Longevity so far

I'm enjoying it a lot. Fun customizing and the battles can be pretty strategic&fun most times. I'd like to see a few more game modes, maybe a big battle royal if possible

Car Wars

Love it, give it time it grows on you, this is a game I played on paper years ago. Love it

Fun. Exciting. Challenging

This is a great game to pass the time, easy to level up while you play and not forced to buy to advance.

A lot of fun

Hrothvald

It is an excellent game overall. For those of you who loved car wars - this has a lot of the same feel without all of the hours of set up. It is a great turn based action/strategy game with satisfying depth, strong graphics, and all of the mayhem and destruction you would hope for. Give it a try - you will be glad you did.

Great game, great update, and great support

I'm Batman

A five star plus rating -- updated review. Playing now for several months -- I really enjoy this game. Just a few hours with the update, and it looks great! HUGE kudos as far as support. I encountered a bug and emailed gunjin. Holy mackerel, they replied within an hour and resolved the problem in less than twelve. This happened again recently with a seriously minor glitch, and again gunjin took care of it in less than a day. Great game. Great support. Most definitely give it a shot. The game is definitely well worth trying out and exploring in depth. One of early reviewers said it well: If you liked (Steve Jackson's) Car Wars, this is a trip down memory lane and a good one. If you are not familiar with that game, it's still fun and well worth you kicking a movie ticket's worth of dough to the developers to explore it more fully. As far as some of the low reviews because of crashing, all I can say is that I have not had any problems. As far as the low reviews because of IAPs, I have to say that the majority of developers are not working for "megacorp studios", thus need to make a living, and thus are not responsible for providing free entertainment. Maybe I am wrong about gunjin (their website says they are a small outfit) but I don't see a lot of apps from them in the App Store. Guessing they are people who need to pay bills and put food on the table . . . maybe even enjoy a night out with the fellas. I paid $10 for an IAP and have been enjoying the game for 5 plus hours. The math: $10/5 hours = $2 per/hour. Mercy, I feel like I was robbed. Yep, that was sarcasm. (I have now played many many many many more hours and still not hit a paywall.) Take care.

Really like it?

I don't usually do this but I really like this game.

The Freemium Aspects Ruin It

NaughtHere

This could have been a great game, but it's so packed with timers and Freemium bs, it isn't fun. My biggest problem is the fact that the game is turn-based, but every match has a time limit! If you don't kill all the enemies under the time limit, you automatically lose. Then they force you to spend currency (that you buy with real money) or watch a video ad to restart the level with full health. Gross. Ive never seen a turn-based strategy game punish players for thinking too much. The game is a waste of a good concept and talented programmers.

Awesome, enjoyable car combat game

JackCreature

I've always enjoyed automobile combat games, but never found any decent ones for mobile that I could enjoy. I finally came across this game earlier today & I'm thrilled to say it's absolutely worth checking out. One of the aspects of car combat that I find incredibly appealing is the chance to customize your vehicles with a wide variety of choices. This game has a surprisingly decent mixture of variety in the different weapon and armor choices and some depth with the upgrade system, which not only effects the weapons or gadgets but also other car stats. The stats could use a little more explanation, I'm not positive on what all of them mean still but figured most of them out when I was able to identify them the little key they provide. The game "economy" seems super well balanced - so far I've been able to upgrade my car and buy new weapons without it feeling too easy/too difficult to afford them. I can't go crazy and get everything, but I can try out different things and upgrade the ones I like. Hopefully money doesn't get scarce as the game progresses. Also, I haven't noticed too many ads for in-game items or in general and that's a fresh breath of air. These days it seems like most free games are half-ad, half-game. Thankfully, this is a game that knows its a game and keeps you immersed in it most of the time. I only recall two ads as of writing this: one for an in-game "starter pack" of items and currency, and the one asking me to rate the app. Not normally a review guy, but this game has got me hooked the past few hours and seems pretty solid. I was skeptical about the controls initially, but after getting used to them I actually really enjoy the sort of "turn-based" pauses that let you shift direction and change weapons precisely. PVP seems pretty cool too, but I need to check it out after I level up a bit. My car was too green to compete when I first tried it. Definitely try the game out if your curious, I think it may be my new favorite for now.

This is a great battle strategist game, and role-playing against CUPs or other players makes it all the more fun.

Game play has potential, but...

Harris U.

Overly burdened with economic gameification, gave up early when I built out a car only to have the game tell me it isn't valid and I couldn't use it without explanation as to why.
