Audiobus EQ at number 1 for midi capability
Obis11

Jonatan Liljedahl doesn't have to much any more to convince me to buy his apps. So far I've had nothing but good experiences. This EQ is really honestly the best I've use for iOS for its fine control. Using any of this developers effects work fantastic with lemur and midi designer. Just good clean coding here. BTW thank you for continuing to support iOS 5.

Must Agree ...
Mo Freeapps

Truly appreciate J L's approach to audio as it should function in IOS. I stuck with ios 6 on my older iPad and using audiob.us in conjunction with this developer's mighty sound shaping tools <AUFX series> I have been able to 1) design and contort nearly any sound I desire, 2) play live synth and electric piano in jams with bands packing only a QUNEXUS, iPad mini, and a BIG GRIN! (Yeah i plug into the P.A.) and 3) compose entire songs or just groove ideas whilst traveling and truly being happy with the results as much and sometimes more than with my home Reason, Logic, DSP Quattro setup (not saying I still don't love those tools...) Must agree with previous review that Kymatica is an IOS audio GIANT and a big thank you for support of older devices! Yeah every app he made - is excellent. Buy them all.

Excellent EQ for iOS

Another Kymatica hit. The interface is excellent, and it works flawlessly on both the iPhone and iPad. The AUFX series is top notch. The inclusion of a spectrum analyzer is extremely useful for recording on the go!

Simple, Powerful, Very Useful!

I own all of Kymatica's apps and I find them to be very well designed and easy to use. These apps work great in the FX slot in Audiobus. Really adds a lot to your sound. I have found this app to be particularly useful with giving my Bass Guitar a super low Reggae sound. If you're looking for an easy way to tweak your EQ this is your app.

New upgrade crashes
BluedogPR

Love the App. Unfortunately, new version 1.2.1 crashes when loading presets. This applies to all AUFX App upgrades as well.

What's not to like?
Jareditor

Read the description and be assured that it does indeed do all that and very, very well. For beginners to audio tweaking, there's some learning to do, but it's stuff you should know anyway, and the results are gratifying to say the least. Great support: I submitted a question, and the developer got back to me immediately. I'm going to buy more of Kymatica's apps based on this experience.

Simple, obvious, and effective killer EQ
HouseOfHomuth

The AUFX series from this developer is everything right about iOS music apps. It offers a lightweight solution with studio-quality results, and does it in a manner that doesn't try to cram desktop complexity (or CPU usage) onto a portable device. I wasn't sure I needed the effects in the AUFX series (PeakQ, Dub (delay), and Space (reverb)), but I now own all three. I figured that most of the input apps I used had some degree of effects and EQ, so why would I need a separate app? First, this is a BETTER EQ than most EQ's you'll find in a standalone app. It allows you not only to add (or subtract) gain from specific frequencies, but also to adjust the width and frequency location of what you are adjusting. There are also a good number of presets to get you started. You may not know what all this stuff means (I'm not ace, either), but anyway can understand that "bass boost" is going to make the low end more prominent! Second, PeakQ can modify ANY app or sound signal you run through it. Have a synth sound that sounds good, but a little thin? PeakQ can address that. Cymbal crashes sound a little muddier than they should be? Run it through PeakQ and boost the high frequencies. Third, this is a universal app (EQ and effects apps on iPhone are somewhat limited), it's cheap, a small file size, and fully compatible. What that means is you can run it with any compatible AudioBus app, or as an IAA effects app. You could even edit raw .wav files through AudioShare. It even has a look-ahead limiter to prevent clipping if your source signal is too strong. Simply put, this app takes the music you make, and can make it sound better.

Great!

I love all of the AUFX plugins. This EQ does the job with little impact on CPU. Works great with Audiobus and I often reach for it to glue things together.

Thank God someone is taking their apps seriously
