Worth the few bucks

I enjoy the selection of offerings of old radio shows and the history books. I rated it only four stars because of the slowness of the search functions and the number of times the library failed to load. I would like a search function that searches all libraries at once. I looked at the price of the pay books, but for those prices I personally would buy the hard copy at Amazon or a used bookstore. i

I love books but every year it seems I have less time to sit and read. Audio books are a great alternative. I can be doing something dull and my mind becomes totally involved with the story. I have an amazon books subscription, I have an audible books subscription. I have up to date library cards to the local and the nearby university libraries. Yet this is how I do most of my book "reading". The app does everything my audible app does. Some of the librivox volunteer readers are as good or better than the professionals at audible. And audible has a few clunkers as does librivox! The small change you spend here will get you access to a great library. Just.... GET IT!!!

There are glitches, but I use this app almost all the time. I love listening to the great books and stories. The worst part for me is going thru the titles trying to remember if I have listened to the book or not. Wish there was a way to mark as read even if one has deleted the download. I heartily recommend this app!

I downloaded this app as well as several books for a 4500 mile solo road trip. I listened to Dracula, the Law and the Lady, several radio shows, and some short sci-fi stories during my drive. What a pleasure, and I loved the ease and the fact that it was FREE!

Not a good experience

I have tried to buy 6 different books. It charges me, then starts the download, it's ready to play, and then I get a message that it's not available in the us!! I better not get charged for them. I'm not happy!
I just like this a lot.i have listened to all the books I never read as a kid.

I have listening to this for 2 years. Once in a while a read is not very good but you get over that real quick there's so much to listen to so much talent out there thank you
