This app worked perfectly until it did not. Now I am still billed but can't download or listen to any of my books. The worst part is that I contacted eStories 10 days ago and they haven't bothered to do more than send an automatic response. Really disappointed!!!
Killing my battery

Every couple of days the app will drain my battery from 100% to 50% within 30 mins and It keeps cutting off as well so I have to delete the app and reinstall it and that is usually fix it for a few days. If it wasn’t for that issue I’d give it 5 stars cause it’s great other than that. I’m a little worried that it might permanently mess up my battery because of that

This app needs a major update...and fast. It keeps freezing, and it's impossible to listen to a book. Very frustrating.

This app / service has potential with a wide selection of books at affordable price, it's a couple $ cheaper than Audible. BUT I have tried for over a week to download books so I would be able to listen offline but books won't completely download and they won't play without constant wifi connection. EVEN A PARTIALLY downloaded book! Tried uninstalling and deleting but with no luck. Customer service was slow in response. Glad it was a free trial membership and I may return if service improves. !!!!UPDATE!!!!! Finally listening to my trial books (only over wifi of course) AND I discovered this app DOES NOT have a timer or Chapter lists! Wait...what? Yep you can bookmark a spot but don't expect it to magically transport you back to it. Like what is the point? I can use the 30 second reverse 100 zillion times to get back where I was? Ummm, no! 1/2 star

Love listening to audiobooks on the eStories app especially on my work commute. I can speedup the playback and add bookmarks in my fav spots. TONS of books. most of the nytimes best sellers

I've been listening to audiobooks for years and it's great to finally have an alternative to Audible. Not only is eStories $3 less per month, but they give you DRM-free copies of the audiobooks you buy and even allow you upload and play audiobooks you already own for free. They have a huge selection of books, with all the bestsellers, and the app is simple and easy to use. I did run into some early technical issues, but was happy to get a quick response from their customer care team and see an app update just a week later that fixed my problem. Nice work eStories.

Been looking for something to do during my morning train ride other than playing mobile games. I've always wanted to listen to audiobooks and this app surfaced. So far it's been great. I picked up Amy Shumer's book for my first read, absolutely worth it !
