The price is great and the selection is amazing!

Doesn't save place consistently

Soslight

Love the site, like the app. Would be wonderful if it didn't start over at the beginning of a chapter you've half finished one out of every four or so times.

can absorb the Word of God

MsVal001

I love this website I can have the Word read to me on a daily basis. I'm going to check if school books are here too, being a distant learning student it would certainly be like sitting in a traditional classroom if they sell textbooks too!

I can't login

Roxie-Tx

I was really excited to experience my first audiobook. But I can only listen if I login with the app and it won't allow me to. Please fix the app soon.

The fallen.

It used to be such a great App till the last upgrade, now it's buggy and their prices are way to expensive compared to the competition. I'm back about 6 month of use and a lot of money spent. I've just dropped this App to 1 Star and I'll explain why: Before I do you should know that I got a membership on a few audio books services including Audible which no denying is the best of them all because you got a whole year to exchange any book for any reason even if you just didn't like the book, something very very handy which eStories don't provide. Because I'm laying in a hospital bed I listen pretty much all the time ( a book is a great pain killer ), so a book a month was never enough for me hence the reason of using 4 services plus I've discovered an App for $ 2.99 one time payment no membership and you'll find almost any book and many times books that eStories don't even carry ( it's named Whisper but not easy to find in the Apple Store because there are to many Apps named Whisper so search for the one with an icon that have a yellow cloud with a black W in its center ) the App is not great but you get unlimited audio books. Now about eStories which I spent a lot of money on them buying point for more books and lately I'm totally into Space Opera Siri books because I love them and each book can be up to 40 hours but usually half of that and mostly they are trilogy's minimum 60 hours for a story but could go up to 100 easily. Well even so I kept buying packages of 3 points to get the whole trilogy eStories decided that they don't like me getting always the long books so now they booked me getting books from famous space operas writers which I just couldn't belive it because I go through up to 15 hours a day listening to those great pain killers, so they only allow me to use cash no credits on those books now and I used to actually like eStories but no more I've closed my account still having 3 credits which I can still use and I was sure that they will try to stop me by offering great deals, after all letting me download a book is not the same as sending me something in the mail. And the funny thing is that when I've discovered eStories I tried to close my Audible account they didn't won't to let me go so easy so we settled on $30 for 5 books a month and of course I stayed I listen to a book every 2 to 3 days that's at least 10 books a month and usually even more then that! So now I'm closing accounts all over 5 books from Audible plus as many from Whisper, so be careful using eStories they actually wanted me to pay at least $35.99 a book even so I still had 3 credits left and it just started, it didn't bother them before ( I used to get the same length books from the same author for one credit) they even offered one book for 2 credits buy cutting the book to two parts so the same book shows up 3 times a full version for cash or part one and part 2 for credits, not to mention that their customers service is not that great at all but with Audible no questions asked get a book no good get a different one and they got way better collection. Sorry it came to it but if a company does this to a customer I don't want to be involved.

Now great

UPDATED: the update I downloaded fixed the problem. I don't like that this app restarts my book chapters when I pause reading for the day. Frustrating for sure. Also, the skipping ahead feature or dragging the dot to advance the chapter the book place doesn't match the words until you pause and restart. Some annoying bugs. Hope to update this with a review saying it works great.

I loved estories. But I hadn't been able to log in for over a week. I contacted them and they fixed the issue somehow. Within an hour.
