Downloaded and used free version for a few minutes with no problems in conjunction with Room EQ Wizard on my laptop. I loaded the frequency sweep add on and app crashes 100 of the time. Really disappointed since it's a paid app. Otherwise, it appeared to be the tool I need to calibrate my home theater gear. Please fix so I can get back to business.
Doesn't want to stay open

Well it's an excellent app but what I noticed is that some times when I try to open it starts to load but right when it's about to open the app shuts down so I deleted and reinstalled the app and it's starting to work has anyone had this similar problems

Outputs a clean sine wave with practically infinitely variable frequency from 20 Hz to 20 KHz. Easy to use and hit specific frequencies since the dial is split into 5 sections. I used this today to find a rattle in my car. I have a small sub and was getting a rattle at certain frequencies. I was able to find the frequency within a minute, and subsequently the rattle as well.

Tone Generator put to the test

I started with the free tone generator and realized that this app was awesome when it came to analyzing audio amplifiers. I used a Tektronix scope and found that this generator is cleaner and more accurate than the lab unit that I have at work. Since then, I have purchased all of the additional generators offered within the app, and let me just say that they all rival or exceed the pro commercial ones that my sound lab has purchased for equipment evaluations not to mention what each unit cost when originally purchased. This app is truly amazing. You will love using this app on all kinds of amplifiers, and speakers, as well as evaluating headsets.

If i had to buy all this test gear separately it would cost a grand. I use this for rough EQ and it totally works. Highly recommended

Turned it on at 12K and -12db. My wife was in another room upstairs and yelled down to me that it was annoying. She could still hear it at 16K. I guess I shouldn't whisper in her presence. Downloaded all the options. This will get a lot of use.

This app got me out of a pinch. Our dbx DriveRack 260 was having trouble trying to auto EQ our room that has numerous modes at various frequencies and at various locations in the room. The end result of the DriveRack's auto EQ looked like a yagi antenna and made everything sound like it was in a box. I used Signal Generator to generate white noise and dialed into the DriveRacks RTA/EQ to manually make changes to the EQ till I got the desired response curve on the RTA. I bought all the Add-on's to help support the cause and because they are fun to play with. The UI is very functional, but could go from great to amazing with a little polish. Regardless I have to give this app 5 stars! Keep up the good work guys!
