Just wow

This is the first bad review I have ever left but the sheer awfulness of this app has left me astounded. Crap instructions, not intuitive UI..., can’t even get a timer going... list goes on... apple should make all app makers offer a lite version so that this kind of crap doesn’t wind up on the App Store. Unbelievable

One bug

I’ve been using this app for 2 years. I love it. I recently bought Apple Watch. Even though I clicked stop button, sometimes it doesn’t work so two time logs work together. Please fix the error. Thx!

UPDATE: The next day, this app was fixed — no crashes! Thank you for the quick repair and the remarkable app. It’s the answer to all app prayers! 5 huge stars. I love this app and use it daily, religiously. But since the last update, it crashes as soon as I tap on anything after opening it. I imagine/hope the developers are aware of the situation and are working on it. I will definitely update my rating to 5 stars (where it belongs) when the app is fixed. Until then, new users be aware of the bug.

Almost perfect [updated review]

This app is very much what I had been looking for and almost built myself since I hadn’t been successful at finding a time tracker. The Good: - Easy convenient interface - smartly swaps between activities - Very nice list view and pie chart breakdown of time period - lots of icons and colors to pick from For Improvement: - The icon screens seem to lag the first time they are pulled up when the app is open. If you completely close the app, reopen, and try scrolling through them again they lag the same way. - It seems that you can have 2 events running simultaneously if you create a completely new one while a current one is running - it would be nice to be able to have overlapping events somehow, as the last point mentions. Example: I like to track how much time I spend flying but also which project I am working on while flying. Sure, this makes the total time in the day exceed 100% but there has to be a way to have both and maybe represent Topic 1 Time vs Topic 2 Time (projects vs transportation) 2018-11-25 - hmmm 6 months and no update or response, I’m reducing my rating to 3 stars. There’s been no update to fix or explain these issues. Further feature suggestion: - Also, it would be nice to add some sort of sorting support to the icons page. It would be ideal to be able to sort the activities alphabetically, by frequency of use (most frequent up top), and other ways. 2018-03-18 - An update! I will similarly update this review when I get through a thorough playing with the app. The first thing I noticed with the update that was like fingernails on chalkboard: the time for a running event now has the seconds small and superscripted. It makes me have to look harder instead of just glancing. Not a fan. Is there a way to change this back?

I like it

I like this app very much

I use to love

For some reason I am unable to add a new activity or group. There is no plus sign to do so and I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but it’s still not working

Performance getting stale

Start up takes a long time - on the iPad in the landscape mode - the title switches to portrait mode and then back to landscape mode. It’s annoying - especially when picture in picture is running Syncing between devices is taking a very long time now. Using iPad Pro 12.9” 3rd generation

Excellent! Everything I'm looking for

Additional comment August 2019: I would love to be able to use standard keyboard emoji for activity icons! The provided icons are many, but sometimes they just don’t fit the bill for defining my activity. Other than that, I still love ATimeLogger and totally recommend it! Original Review: This is hands down the best time tracker app on the market. Easy to use, very flexible & customizable. You can see how you spend your precious time in clear detail. This app will work for just about everyone. And I love that I can sync between my iPad & phone so I can log my time on the go. Bonus!: the developers respond quickly to my questions. Highly recommended!

Great way to stay on track

I use this app solely to record my time studying for medical school, though it’s capable of so much more. Keeps you accountable, and can even create reports of your activity for any given period of time. Highly recommended.
