This game started well - interesting plot, etc. However, I'm frustrated and disappointed with a glitch at the Fitness Check while playing shuffleboard after the meal in the castle. It locks up the game and won't let me reload or proceed. Sad. 11/4/15 - Now I'm mad. The game has hung up again! DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!
This is the last of the series of 12 Gamebooks set in a common fantasy world. You do not have to play them in order, as they are all great stories in their own right. This Gamebook, like all 12 in the series, is a superb blend of branching story, artwork, and RPG mechanics/combat. If you want to focus on the story and not so much on the challenge of combat, you can play in casual mode with unlimited bookmarks to go back if you don't like your previous choice. The games are very polished and I have not encountered any bugs.
