Astraware CodeWords is an addictive word puzzle game with a difference! You start with a crosswords style grid but instead of words, each letter has been substituted with a number from 1 to 26. It is up to you to figure out which number stands for each letter!
There are no clues but 3 letters are already in place to help you get started and each letter of the alphabet is used at least once. You start by guessing possible words and matching numbers with letters, until you've fully cracked the code - and your vocabulary and logical reasoning will be stretched along the way!
Did you know that the letter 'e' is the most commonly used letter in English? Did you know that 'th' is the most common pair of letters to be seen together? You'll use this knowledge and more as you make your guesses and work out the words!
Astraware CodeWords gives you access to play our free Daily puzzles - top the global leaderboard by completing the puzzle in the fastest time! For an extra challenge there is a Weekender puzzle available each Friday with a trickier grid and more unusual words.

This is a fun stimulating brain game. Addictive. Almost like Wheel of Fortune. Guessing the missing letters to get correct word. Nice to have "hint" button to help when you've inserted wrong letter.

It is a totally fun game to play. It is unlike so many others and this software maker puts out a lot of good quality games that I have paid for the add one and they have been well worth it. I am sure you will enjoy if you love word games.

Excellent game design. In comparison to other codeword games, this one has the best puzzles, layout and hint system. My only negative feedback is that it needs more puzzles at lower cost. Also it costs extra to remove adds, despite purchasing biggest puzzle package.

Fun to play, but letters and squares are small and I don't have large fingers. Also I guessed on actually how to play it. Didn't find much instruction.

Challenging but not extremely difficult! Lots of fun??❗️ Would like to see more daily & weekend puzzles. The Astraware Sudoku has 6 games per day plus other options that would be great for this CodeWords App too! I done mind buying additional games, ask said before - I just wish there were more competitive games daily & weekends!
