It can’t handle large amounts of text in the text box; it doesn’t auto scale the text in the text box after you choose between tiny, small, etc.; you can’t make up a custom type field; the “add at cursor” in the textbox isn’t actually where the cursor is. Besides that, it works well. I really like that i can add the mana cost in a custom order and most websites don’t even allow that.
I love this app. It’s so much fun to be able to create and customize your own MTG cards for free. The interface is clean and simple, and the app’s workflow is great. However, every time I export my card into my photo album, the quality of the card drops, and the entire card ends up looking kind of blurry. Besides that, this app is absolutely worth getting for any MTC fan
The app works great and is quite streamlined. It is neat that features mechanics such as adventure and sagas are included. It does not seem to have the ability to create transform cards or split cards (such as aftermath) however. I also wish it had a quick access to formatting (potentially with reminder text) for mechanics that are already in the game such as flashback. This would ease templating for ideas using existing mechanics and help creativity by seeing options laid out (maybe use a drop down within the area to add mana symbols). It does seem that the developer is updating it frequently, so I have hope that some of these features may appear in the future. I appreciate the work that the developer put into this and hope that not all of these features are too much of an ask. Overall the app is very useful for showing ideas and in a neat format to boot. I would recommend this highly to anyone who wants to share custom card ideas.
The highlighting on some of the set icons are off when not on common rarity for one but otherwise amazing. Would like to see both kinds of split cards as well as more styles like the four ability planeswalkers
I have had this app for an hour and I am already loving it, I would give it five stars if they had support for hybrid mana and purple cards
This app is amazing, and the amount of unique cards you create is astounding, the only thing keeping this from a five star review is that there is no way of making a folder within the app gallery, this makes it hard to complete an entire custom set, because it is hard to sort without taking up a lot of storage on your phone. But other than that I love this app :)
I used to go on google on my PC and play around with wonky templates but this is so much better and accessible in every way. Can’t wait for more features but I’d especially love a folder system to organize my cards.
You can make almost anything in here, and it’s absolutely free. I’ll be donating. Thanks for introducing me to the world of making MTG cards that make fun of my brother. Look for a donation soon!
This app is amazing for making fake MTG cards. It allows you to save the cards to a gallery or your phone, make everything easy to create, and properly sizes everything very easily. The only thing that the app is missing is a handful of layouts such as Split Cards or Aftermath.
I’ve wanted to create Magic Cards for a while, then I come across this. It has barely any ads and it has so many features that are very useful when creative. I love this app so much and I hope the developer keeps on going.
