Firmware breaks functionality

When I first received this Kickstarter, the program and app worked out of the box wonderfully. Nikon D3300 user. With the most updated firmware, app, and iOS, the app disconnects from the Arsenal every time it shows me a live view or loads any information at all. I can’t use this, it would be great if updated fixed problems rather than caused a new array of issues for people who had none. 1/5 until they update something, otherwise this brick is going back in the box.

I received my arsenal after a year and I tried to work with it, the app does not connect to arsenal as it keeps not finding the device if in once in a blue moon it finds the device it has problem with saying camera not found though the camera is on with half click and everything on. Thanks for such high hopes and delivering a bad product.
Completely broken app

Once the app connects to my Sony a6500 through the Arsenal device, it immediately disconnects and Arsenal enters USB mode. Broken app means a useless device.

There are a lot of bug right off the bat for a kickstart with a lot of shopping delays. I should have so many bugs on my first attempt to use it. Great idea poor execution and poor support from the developers.
Can’t connect with arsenal

After a year of waiting, it can’t connect. It connected at first, started uploading the firmware, stopped halfway, and now it can’t find Arsenal Wifi and thus cant connect. 0/5 until fixed.

Bug: when you connect to the WiFi and open the app, it opens a form that says you’re connected with no back or close button. This doesn’t super work on iPhones. The firmware changed my camera settings to where I had to factory reset it to get auto focus to work again. Connection issues are another (rarely connects on the first five or so tries). Not sure why they implemented WiFi instead of Bluetooth but seems like a huge pain if you’re using this inside when you’re connected to home WiFi.

The app has a pretty decent interface. The product is a great idea which is why I backed it on Kickstarter. However, like other reviewers have stated, Arsenal constantly disconnects from the app. I’ve turned off cell connection, I’ve forgotten other networks and I’ve downloaded and reinstalled the app to no avail. Until this is fixed, I’m sad to say that I can only give one star.

Doesn’t even link to my iPhone X; after the firmware update, Arsenal tool did not even reset. Still showing a solid blue light and not working at all

Like most new inventions, nothing works flawlessly in the beginning! There was some delay in shipping yes...but one should acknowledge the effort it takes to create and release something new! The countless obstacles and all the eventualities which can go wrong when creating a new electronic device. I have a lot (A LOT) of respect for anyone who has the balls to take the journey of starting up something like this. My device got stuck during the firmware update but the guys from arsenal had a solution to fix it! Now it works just fine and it is taking pictures I would have not been able to myself! Great idea, great device, lots of fun to use it!
