Update: this app just keeps getting worse and worse. If they’re not going to support it they should just remove it from the App Store. The search function doesn't work and these idiots think I'll support their Patreon?

AppZapp has saved me $$ - but search rarely works

The AppZap service does 3 great things for me: 1) Let’s me know when specific apps I want are on sale or free. 2) It lets me know when an app I like but think needs improvement is updated. 3) Allows me to browse a custom search of educational titles that have gone free so I can keep my kids learning while entertained without spending any money. They saved me so much I used patreon to donate a couple bucks to them on a regular basis. Unfortunately this app is so buggy it’s incredibly frustrating to use. The worst issue is search. I can’t use the app for the first 2 benefits I listed above if I can’t find the app I want to track. Searching for apps almost always results in an error. Not because I entered anything wrong, because sometimes if I just keep doing the search again and again it will finally work. It’s also weird that since right before ios11 was released logging in with Facebook doesn’t work. They have a message saying the app needs an update to work with FB, but where is the update? It’s been months now. The original AppZapp application was much more reliable and user friendly. In particular it had daily lists of best deals and new releases. I got a lot more use of the app when I was able to easily view those apps. I don’t really care about the FB login. But I do care about the search. Fix that and it’s 5 stars. Bring back the easy to find deals & new release lists and I’d give it 6 stars if possible.
Total Mess - ERRORS EVERYWHERE

A once amazing app has gone to hell & has become a frustrating, useless mess. The old app was just perfect and worked flawlessly. Everything about this version is wrong. It has tons of features -- none of which actually work. The overall UI is confusing, bloated and impractical. And the CONSTANT ERRORS. I'm unable to perform a basic search without immediately getting an error message. No results ever show up, either. BRING BACK THE OLD APP... you know, the one that WORKED.

Love this app! Not only do I save tons of money and keep up with the latest releases but I especially love the tagging/folders feature. I haven't seen another app or website that allows me to group my apps by categories and functions. I can also use multiple descriptions/tags for each app. The alerts on my wish-list apps are great too! 5 Stars!
