Clean Install - New Version Works Great

Military Shooter

Works great after the update, it is best to do a clean install.

Dont

Bought this app out of curiosity. Mildot Ballistic, Ballistic AE and StrelokPro are much better apps with StrelokPro being my favorite because it already has just about any reticule built into the app. Each gives data for your loads that are comparable but with every imaginable scope reticule built into the program makes StrelokPro stand above the others.

Good App and a few tweaks would make it better

Marc Denis

Bought this after owning Shooter and studying Bryan's books. My only suggestion for change concerns the moving target feature. Target motion is not accounted for in windage displays on the reticle view. Changing target speed changes 'wind' windage but not target windage. So... a few tweaks are needed. Looking forward to field use with a new 6.5mm rifle.

No longer works

AIAX Shooter

I just performed the latest update (10.2.1) and this app no longer works. You can change data but when you try and calculate a solution, the app quits. Please fix asap

Can't re-edit ammo information?

RTSchramm

This app has the most confusing interface that I have ever seen in on the App Store. After painstakingly entering the data, having to constantly look up the unique terms on the company's web site, I can't edit my current ammo library to change my zero settings. There are plenty of other ballistic apps the use mostly the same open source ballistic calculator that are easier to use, have a better interface, are much better organized, and are cheaper and just as accurate out to 1000 yards! This app was a waste of money as far as I'm concerned. I was conned by the paid internet reviews.

Not bad

Now that the app has been updated and supports CDMs it’s actually pretty good. I haven’t noticed any problems so far and the only feedback I have is just feature suggestions. Mainly I’d like to see it work with my AB kestrel as an alternative to the Kestrel Ballistics app. Since I already have the CDM library on it, it’d be great to be able to transfer profiles back and forth and have this AB app talk to the Kestrel for atmospherics. Other then that, this version is a great improvement

Best ballistics app

Flyer93

This is the best ballistics app out there and worth every penny. While the user interface is a little clunky, it’s still miles above any comparable app. As a hunting guide, I need to have data for each clients gun and ammo available offline. This app makes that easy and convenient with an extensive library of factory loads to choose from. I really like the reticle view feature for being able to show clients exactly what the reticle looks like and where to apply a wind hold. One issue that I’ve found is with importing the local atmospheric conditions. Even with the “Disable Wind Population” turned on (so that the local station values don’t mess up my preferred 10 MPH / 90* wind value), I am still getting local wind populated into my chart and One Shot views, so I have to go back and delete the imported wind and manually enter 10 MPH / 90* winds. Overall, it’s a great tool and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a phone based ballistics calculator.

Great calc but the UI needs work

Mattmcg in Ca

11/27 updated review. The recent updates solved the calc issues that plagued this app (Yay!) but the UI still need work. On an iPhone 7 Plus, the font size in the rifle and load selection pages is too large and jumbles the text to display too many “...”. Fix the fonts and would easily make this a 4 star app.
