iBook keeps closing as I am reading

%Fl21

Why has this app started to close as I am reading a book. When will the problem be resolved?

ios update

ygbnnbvvjkcx

This messes it up

Skips pages

Too many Bens

When turning the page, it’ll skip the page. If I go back I can see the missed page but it never lines up perfectly. If I go back again I’m back it the original page and going to the next page skips the same page with the same problem when I go back a page. The end result is that I can’t read small sections of a book every two or three pages. Unusable app at this point. Frustrating since I can’t read books I paid for on Apple Books in other apps.

would like to know a book’s reading level

LotsOfLanguages

Books sometimes suggests books that i might like and then the sample is clearly written for a middle schooler. Amazon puts reading levels on their book websites, Apple should do the same.

Soooooo great

mohammed qsim

It’s a small word to describe the books I’m really enjoyed to study and explore using Apple Books COMPLETE APPLICATION FOR STUDYING AND SELF IMPROVEMENT ?

Awesome

the first custodian

I really like the app, there are a few features that I would like, the first one being able to see how many hours you’ve combined over the course of the days/weeks/months and the end of the year, then a feature to mass mark the books unfinished

Loss of place

marcic910

This app used to keep to the last place you were reading, it doesn’t do that anymore it just jumps chapters back. What happened?

Oddly loses books

grandgeezer

I have a fair amount of (drm-free) epub books that I have selected for syncing onto my ipad. It seems to work right after you add them, but they disappear after relatively short time. This obviously comes to light on an airplane, where resync'ing or re-downloading is no longer an option, so you're stuck with a useless ipad for however many hors your flight is. Marvin doesn't seem to have that problem — it's less polished, but generally functional. Getting out of reading mode and back to the library is unexpectedly tricky, but it will happen eventually if you keep randomly paw'ing your ipad. At least we're allowed to review the Books app, that seems a rarity amongst apples products today.

Horrible

lover of sleepiest best person

Omg this app is so glitchy every time I reopen a book I loose my spot waste of my time.
