Best days are long past

Mr. Luigi

Used to be a solid app with a vibrant comment community. Used to be.

Great App!

I started with the “old AppAdvice” but let it go by the wayside. Downloaded this version and what a pleasant surprise. Easy to navigate and so full of good information. Thank you for an outstanding app!

Better, but still big bugs

Ads?!?! Now we get to see ads in a paid-for app? And right below the back button, which is already tiny and hard to hit on an iPhone X. The first time I accidentally tap an ad I’m dropping this to one star then deleting the app. Original review: The comments section is definitely better than the last version... except when it doesn't work at all. Since these guys don't always have their facts straight, it would be nice to have a place to set things straight for other readers. I just bought Sony Bluetooth headphones based on a recommendation. The article said they come with "a carrying case for when you're on the go." In fact, they don't. I should have read Amazon's description for myself, but then why are we reading App Advice if we have to verify everything they write?

What?

I get only a blank white screen on this app. You can see the tabs at the bottom, but nothing else. Please fix! I've tried everything.

Beware!!!

I have had this app for years and loved it. But not anymore. Many of the recommended apps don’t work on newer iPhones. Some are no longer available in the App Store. I Just paid for a St. Patrick’s Day app that barely works on my iPhone 8. I attempted to rate it through the App Store but it doesn’t even show up there. On my home screen it showed up under the name “Wallpop.” I foolishly paid for the pro version assuming that App Advice would not recommend a rip off. Wrong! When I searched the App Store for “Wallpop” I got an Error 560 message. I deleted the ripoff app. App Advice is the next to go.

BLinking “a” drives me crazy. Slow

Baahh

Slow to load. And when it loads there is a rapidly blinking/scrolling small letter blue “a”, obviously their logo and it is Extremely annoying! This used to be a decent app with rapid deployment and quick to scroll through info. Now I go elsewhere for my advice. Like lots of apps gets worse over time with bloat. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

Hard to use with iPhone X

Forget about it. I rarely use this app anymore. I used to be a big fan. The buttons to navigate are buried way at the top of the screen and are covered by the time and the WiFi signal etc. You’d think they’d update the app to make it easier to use. I have to shut down the app and restart it if I want to do anything on it and repeat over and over. Over it.

⚠️This App Needs Advice On; How To Work Properly!!

#Just·Ā·Card*Player

This App COULD BE Great, If It Actually WORKED & Was "UP-TO-DATE" (As It Claims!!) Got It a yr ago. Tried it Several times, & Everytime I Ended Up getting My "App-ADVICE" By Googling It!! DEVELOPERS; DO SOMETHING or Get Rid Of It!!!

Great! Not working

Rmac927

Now when I open the app I get a blank page and a message tap to reload. Didn’t work so I deleted and re loaded the app. Same thing! Buh By App Advise! Nice while it worked.

Thin Pickings!

It is rare nowadays that this App brings a freebie to my attention that is worthwhile. Most of the offerings are aimed at toddlers or very narrow interests. Only a couple times per month is anything I’m interested in offered. I also have a couple of additional bones to pick at: apps routinely offered are not totally free as most have “in app” purchases. To me, that’s Not Free. And quite a few apps offered, on any particular day, aren’t available/free for the entire day. Their availability “expires” after a few hours! Thought they were free for the entire day. It’s truly hit and miss. Just don’t expect too much!
