You will need an AnyMote Home IR hub (https://anymote.io) to control your IR devices. It's not necessary for WiFi devices.
AnyMote Home requires an iPhone 4s or later/iPad 3rd Gen or later (which have Bluetooth Low Energy) and only works while the iOS device is in range.

Color Tiger abandons their customers
Chromom

I have had the app for quite a while. I loved the features, and even spent the $80 to get the IR blaster, so I could bring in a couple of other devices. Then, my house had a brief power outage. Anymote no longer talks to DirecTV, and Color Tiger no longer talks to me. I have gone back to the Yoke app, on the same phone, which works fine.

Works for Direct tv
Naterater3286

So far it’s good! Have direct tv genie model c41w-100 and app works great over WiFi with the beta! First time I searched for devices nothing came up exit out and re tried brought up all direct tv boxes in the house! Works better than any other remote app I’ve tried so far! Keep up the great work!

Useless without hardware they discontinued
jaybrennan

This only controls my Hue. It can’t control any of my home theater hardware without the Anymote hardware device, WHICH THEY DISCONTINUED!! If you try to add any device remote, it tries to search for the Anymote device, doesn’t find it, then takes you to a page to buy one, where they tell you it’s discontinued. Waste of $7

HORRIBLE
TiphanyL1977

You have to have an AnyMote box for this thing to work, it isn’t a remote control

Do NOT buy
drhohum

I paid to upgrade in order to activate the additional features only to find out there aren't any. Just like many of you have found out as well. I can't imagine why Apple allows this to remain in the App Store. Delete this app Apple. Refund expected.

Junk

Does not control devices like a remote.

Strange glitch

I have an iPhone 7 and use this app for my Roku and basic flat screen tv (not a smart tv). The app works great for when I can’t find my Roku remote, but it has a flaw. When I open and close the app my phones volume with fluctuate from mute to full volume (mutes when exiting and full volume when entering). Not a huge deal, but I need the volume up for alarms etc and thankfully I catch it when exiting and turn my volume back up. My husband has an iPhone 7 Plus and this app and he doesn’t encounter this issue.

Stopped
MomOfAllBoys13

Was working fine then stopped. Even with update it won’t stay connected to Tv?

Disappointed!!!!

I use to LOVEEEEE this app. I was able to use it for my sound bar without ANY complications and now .. I actually have to have an " Anymote " device in order to use it?? That’s Absurd . You definitely should’ve kept it like it was
