This app is pretty flawless. Like, it does what it says that it does—and it does it really well. As icing on the cake, I’m especially pleased to report that while this app does have in-app purchases, they’re just one-time purchases. So once you buy the upgrades—if you choose to—you’re good to go. (It’s not like you’re getting roped into any $X/month nonsense like so many other apps seem to do these days.) I can’t recommend this app highly enough. PS If I could make one small request to the developer: Might it be possible to add a mini toolbar or something to the add-text flow to let users switch between left-aligned text versus centered text? With that one addition, I think this app might be truly perfect.

I’ve had this installed for years, but kinda forgot about it. Just started playing with it again AND I happily paid the $9.99 (US) to unlock the full version.

No other Annotate app comes close. I've been using it since it came out. Each version gets better & better. The tools are easy to use and it's also easy to use the app. Very intuitive. I'd pay for the upgrades, I did. It's not expensive but does unlock some great extra features.

I’ve been looking for an alternative to the limited Markup extension. It’s now super easy to add text that’s actually legible to any photo super quick (and not needing to take the photo in some other app). The extension to photos sold me.

I downloaded the free version. I spent a lot of time annotating a photo. All of a sudden, when I was saving it modified the document putting huge $ signs so I couldn’t read the text. Might be a good paid app but I will never know.

This was the perfect annotation app, and it still would be if it worked. Thing is, it doesn’t. Not on my iPad Pro 12.9” with everything up to date. I can make edits, but can’t save them. And I have the paid package enabled. Everything still works as expected on my iPhone. Fingers crossed this gets fixed.
